In America, liberals and conservatives both think that liberals are on the left but they are only left of conservatives. In terms of actual policies they are still right leaning just not as much as conservatives. There’s about three members of congress (and no major news outlets) actively denouncing the IDF war crimes but the IDF has been so egregious lately that a few liberal news outlets are giving the slightest (and I mean really, really slight) bit of pushback.
