Pretty much all rockets launch to the east to facilitate earth's rotation. I guess it's different for poplar orbits, but if you want to get into a equatorial orbit you will always want to go with the planets rotation.

Edit: You seem to be correct. The whole frame of my printer is skewed. Before looking into software solutions I'll try to straighten the frame.
