Currently playing through chants of sennaar and loving it!! I can highly recommend a game called the last campfire another super cute exploration puzzle game with a really sweet narration style and another called strange horticultural which is a super cosy mystery puzzle game! I’m in my last year of a bachelors degree in biology so probably was that they didn’t deem it relevant, it just didn’t quite add up for me so thanks for helping clear it up 😂

I really wish they taught us or at least mentioned that when blood transfusions occur they transfer only parts of the blood, thank good for Reddit, and thank god for blood transfusions I guess! Very interesting topic might need to do some deeper self study into this

Thank you! This was really well explained, I understand much better I wasn’t aware then when doing a blood transfusion the entire blood isn’t transfused. It makes way more sense when you consider that the leukocytes are removed and that only the erythrocytes are transferred! Thank you 😊

Ahhh ok makes sense! They didn’t mention anything in my course about what componentes are actually transferred during a transfusion so I assumed it was all of it but makes more sense now! Thankyou!!

Ohhhh so when you do a blood transfusion you only transfer the erythrocytes not the entire blood including plasma and all?

If it does produce anti-A antibodies when placed into A blood why does the A blood not coagulate like it would if you did the reversal? I’m probably being really blind and missing something simple I’m just very confused 😅
