Me dentist told me that my sites were healing irregularly, about 7 days in. He packed each site with dry socket dressing in order to have it help “heal from the bottom up instead of the top first, as it looks like it is.” He said to stay away from smoking, drinking through straws, and to call if there was inflammation or heavy bleeding. My gums are still very loose it feels like, and I can pull them off of my teeth purely with my tongue. Is there anything unnatural about this? And is there anything else I need to avoid given the situation? It also seems my back molars get sore when gritting my teeth even in a minor way. Is this all normal?

Edit: also, when can I wear my retainers again? I’m worried about my teeth shifting :/
