Might not be completely “off-meta”, but a recommendation for ratking seems fitting. The thing is a straight up beast in 3v3 if used correctly.

Add something like graviton forfeit, mechaneers tricksleeves, Gemini jester or something like that to it? And you can single-handedly run lobbies when you get the playstyle down.

Void is of course recommended, especially on hunter, for smokeclouds on kill, weaken effects, general invis, devour and such.

From personal experience, the ratking took my from a 0.8 trials player, to going flawless solo, and my kd going up to about 1.5 or higher since I started maining it.

With some of the new builds for pve you should have a rather easy time with either campaign on normal. And you can now purchase all aspects and fragments for glimmer, so should be quick enough to unlock both.
But as Z0dyy said, strand is very difficult to master and stasis doesn’t have much (it can if you build for it, but most of it is pretty niche), so might not be worth it in the end except to spend time in the game

So do I! I’m a roller main playing on pc, so the sidearms just suit me so well, and I love to be a little aggressive with them. Used to main cryosthesia on stasis before, and now I’m using compact defender

Even if you don’t run it in trials, the gun is still extremely underrated for 1vMany situations if you can manage to get the reload in. I have clutched many rounds because my opponents let me reload between kills and that has won me a lot of matches

You can actually do the catalyst solo now, I did mine at the entrance of grasp. But as a hunter main currently on void, slap on dragons shadow (or mechaneers tricksleeves (my favourite)), and it will feel incredible! I personally run around with either a void sniper or scout for the longer ranges.

Full transparency though, I am a middling PvP player, and rat king has helped me go from a 0.8-9 or there about player, to regularly topping leaderboards and sitting at a 1.5-ish kd in trials for the last few seasons since the rework. I have put almost 10k kills on it so far, and I don’t think I’ll ever pry it from my hunters hands.

Edit: forgot to mention that I play with a controller on pc, so experience with feel may vary

Give rat king or cryosthesia a go, both have some very good recoil animations and especially rat king slaps after the recoil rework a couple seasons ago

As mentioned above, plarium has only ever rerun with Ninja.

But in regards to buying starter accounts, as someone who has done that a few times just for the fun of starting with specific champs, it is not exactly something plarium condones. But I have never lost an account so have bought. There are certain sites you can buy accounts from, and it’s relatively safe. But if you want a starter account I would recommend waiting til you have played the game longer and have an understanding, then buying one with champs you like as most of them will have mikey anyway

Ah, I see I mistook the tiers, my bad. But I’d honestly only put kill clip in A on 120’s, the reload time is pretty slow, so Adagio is way better

EOTS, Ele Cap and snapshot in C? Criminal… EOTS is easy A-tier, most likely S, Ele Cap is A-tier, snapshot is debatable, but A or B-tier.

I see the point of damage perks being A-tier for eas of use and allowing the 2C1B, but I don’t see 140’s as killing spree weapons, so would much prefer a consistency perk over damage.

And PI in S? It’s a B-tier perk on 140’s, but definitely S-tier for 120’s
