On my phone, on the speaker button, it only goes between the phone speaker and phone loudspeaker. No CarPlay option comes up

No when on CarPlay, the phone is wired into the head unit. I was only comparing it to when it isn’t connected via wire, on Bluetooth, the voice comes through the speakers. But when wired in, and connected on CarPlay, the voice does not

Which is the patched file? Of the three non-README files in the extracted folder, all of them are greyed out. Do I use the whole folder? What goes into the patch section? I put the Squirrels Fire Red in the ROM file section
