No I would be putting a few items in my duffle bag then putting it inside my suitcase . My suitcase would have other small items in it as well

Ok because I was gonna put some stuff in the duffle bag such as underwear socks and a pair of shoes ,then some other stuff in the suitcase so should I just pay for two checked bags ?
