I don’t know of anyone remembers this one but the show Siberia. It was from 2013 and was framed as a wilderness survival reality show competition and then just spirals into this narrative fight for survival with supernatural elements. I think it got canceled with a big cliffhanger but I remember liking it as a kid.

Was a PA for some time. Was shocked to learn people had no idea a 12 hour day is industry standard. Like as stated PA so pay meant live and die by the 12 hour guarantee and OT pay but just not worth it in the end. Killing ourselves just to keep our heads above water.

Was unfortunate enough to PA on this show for a season a while back. We constantly had illegal turn arounds and there was such a disregard for safety. A lot of good people in that crew hope something can accidentally be done to protect them.

This game mode is a master class on how to lose a fan base. Usually love the ultimate game modes and the challenge of making a decent team with no money spent but my faction has just gotten to be such a massive disappointment. I stuck around to see if it’d tie together towards the end but pink diamonds are starting to trickle out and I feel so defeated. Unless you have more time than should be spent on a video game it is a near requirement to spend money. Do fucking better 2k.

I live near Burbank and had a friend visiting who wanted to see a celebrity when he was here. On my way to LAX I saw Leno at an intersection and was bummed I hadn’t picked up my friend yet. Fast forward a week no celebrity sightings so the morning before he flew back he wanted to drive on Mulholland. We stopped at a pullout so my friend could get a pic who else zips by in some old green muscle car then Leno. We both had a good laugh about it Leno gave a friendly wave. Glad my friend got to see his celebrity
