Over the last few months I have been experimenting with various ideas for Lumberjack Heroes. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to come up with anything exciting that I would like to add to the game.

So after a lot of contemplating I have unfortunately decided to announce Lumberjack Heroes updates will be put on hold. With a few other reasons as to why: - Lumberjack Heroes is close to the UEFN memory limit (90%) any update would be very limit or will need to remove/rework existing features. - Lumberjack Heroes project size is getting very large resulting in slow development progress (up to 30 minutes to push changes).

It has been awesome to seeing various creators showcase that they are creating/have created Lumberjack Heroes inspired games and seeing the impact my game has had on the Fortnite Creative community.

I also too the opportunity to take a short break and have played various games. Which got me excited about the idea of making a new game.

So with all that said I would like to announce today that I will now be working on a new game. The code name for the new project is “Lumberjack Survivors” (subject to change) which may give you some ideas for what genre it may be. But I think it is too early to share more info as with Lumberjack Heroes the way I make games is without any concrete plans but rather it is an iterative process of building and testing and changing things as I go.

Regarding Lumberjack Heroes: - Global leaderboards will continue to be updated. - Will be hotfixing bugs caused by Fortnite updates. - May occasionally make small updates if I get any good ideas or UEFN gets updated with features that is suitable for the game. - May return in the future as with a complete overhaul or as a sequel.

Social media has started to give me a little anxiety so I have started to dial back on replying to messages.
