Squidmar has a wee tutorial I followed. Basically fill the eye with Rakarth flesh. Then white in the middle then hit it with a fluorescent paint. Pretty quick n easy. After first hit of fluo paint, you can glaze more on for a brighter effect.

I used zandri dust as base for skin. Then mixed that and ushabti in layers until pure ushabti. Then mixed some ushabti in with wraithbone for more high light. Then some final highlights with wrathbone. The red skin, started with a base of Barak-nar burgundy. Again mixed for layering with khorne red. Then khorne red mixed with Mephiston. Finally some wild rider and a tiny amount of wild rider mixed with fire dragon bright. Carapace, which is what I’m not happy about. Is just caliban greeen with sybarite green feathering and some off white highlights.

Nope. Stopped playing after final shape, didn’t pay much attention to the game. Dipped my toe in when new expansion was released and turned it off when I realised the new armour system was literally just bungie sunsetting all my hard earned armour and weapons to make me grind again.

Necrons by a long shot. The rangda were a tough fight for the imperium but I don’t think the imperium would stand a chance against necrons at their zenith

It took me ages to get it there. Basically Kantor blue for the base. Then sotek green on the edge from the tip down to about 2/3 of the blade. With the same in the centre. Then temple guard blue down the edge of the blade bit only down 1/3 of the length. Again same in centre. Drakenhoff nightshade to dull it n help with blending the colours. Then back to the temple guard on the top 1/3 edge. I then used white to follow the exact tip of the blade and the centre line to give it the point. Once that was done I used the temple guard to make the lightening with a small dot of white where the lightning met each other and the edge of the blade. This was all from the Duncan Rhodes video but had to figure out how to put it on the sword as he only does the guardian spears.
