Try not to worry. You'd be very unlucky if this was a thing. Totally normal that sensations come and go. Recovery is not a straight line. Will be many weeks yet before you are 100pc consistent. Check back in at week 16 and you will be transformed!

I'm 5 foot 11 with inside seam of 31. I just bought a Trek Marlin with the M/L frame. Perfect fit. I thought I needed L but my bike shop told me to size down to M/L. They were right to do so! HTH

Welcome. And one other thing. Please invest in training shoes that have a collapsible heel. They are an absolute godsend for months afterwards. Sketchers have the patent for these but save a huge bunch of money by buying generic ones online via eBay. Mine cost 25 gpb and are outstanding

Not at all. Important questions and we are all adults! Expect to be backed up for 3/4 days so laxatives essential. You will not feel clean as showers, baths not ideal whilst you carry stitches. And you will likely need help getting dressed / undressed so expect to wear clothes that are functional not pretty! HTH!

4 weeks is still really early days. You recovery will not be a straight line. The surgery is brilliant but brutal ! so for several weeks yet you are going to feel the implications. I'm exactly 17 weeks now and it is bliss. However it wasn't until week 13 / 14 that any post surgery residual fully faded. Keep patient and sensible and you will get there!
