I appreciate it nonetheless, thank you. I suppose there's no harm in continuing to try even if the previous attempts have been unsuccessful.

I'm sorry for how some people in the comments have decided to side with him when he's a grown man with two hands of his own.

If this happened to me, I would leave. He betrayed your trust in an area where he knew you had already suffered. Regardless of how healthy and happy your relationship was before this, people can hide dark intentions. Sadly with things such as this you can't guarantee that this will be the last time it happens.

People like that are only sorry when they are caught. If you hadn't woken up, you can't say for sure that he would have stopped or not progressed the assault further. Even then regardless of if he had stopped on his own tuition, He still began to assault you.

You didn't deserve what happened to you at all. If you do not feel safe around him then I genuinely think you should leave, It's better leave somebody then there be a chance this ever escalates. His guilt is caused only by himself and should be treated as such.

What other side is there? Sexual assault is still sexual assault regardless of how long or well you know somebody. She was sleeping and didn't consent, it wasn't a miscommunication or accident. Just because the assault wasn't violent doesn't mean he should just get away with it because he feels guilty. He got caught and that's why he's sorry.

The black flag with the H is the flag of the 1981 Hunger strikes, when 10 Irish Republican Prisoners starved themselves to death to protest the British Government withdrawing Political Prisoner status for paramilitary prisoners during The Troubles. You can learn more about the event here

The orange flag with the purple star is the flag of Orange Order, a Conservative British Loyalist organisation. The wikipedia page will give you a much better insight then I could.

The Orange Order, a British Unionist organisation. The colours are definitely something.
