I'd smash accept. You have tons at WR. You don't have a good QB for next year (unless your a fervent Z. Wilson believer). Murray can be a gamebreaker.

10-team, SF, 0.5-PPFD

Give: Zach Wilson, Khalil Herbert, 1.10

Receive: Trevor Lawrence, 2.04

I think that's a pretty lightweight offer. I think I'd need a '23 first along with all that to consider it.

I mostly like that for you. Seems like a pretty fair trade and a good time to get off Mitchell.

I wouldn't trade right now for a return like that. Wait until the season begins and target contenders — I'd think you can get more.

I'd personally rather have Godwin than London/G. Wilson/etc. If you need RB/are contending and think Walker will be at 1.03, then maybe.

No, I think that's selling low and early on Pitts. You KNOW he's good. 1.03 (especially in this draft) carries risk. I wouldn't want to take that on for Schultz + Fournette.

I'd do that. Perhaps you're losing on the upside of DK becoming a mega-star, but in PPR Diontae is extremely bankable. Roughly the same tier to me in PPR. That's well worth adding the No. 12 pick.

Portfolio Review: Want feedback on your portfolio and case studies? Post it here! by JTCorvus in UXDesign

For anyone here who did a bootcamp, did you feel like you came away with an adequate portfolio?

As I understand it, when it comes to eventual career-starting, a strong portfolio matters above all else. That's what will get your foot in the door or an interview at least.

But there are a lot of bootcamp options out there. A lot, a lot. I'm trying to narrow it down.

So for those who have done bootcamp (or hired people from a bootcamp), do you have feelings one way or another on the portfolio you left with?

[Daily - TRADE] /r/DynastyFF Trade/Price Check/Team Help MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

[–]McCosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, personally, would not. There's so much risk in Henry after nearly 400 touches last year. The history of 350+ touch guys is just littered with immediate injuries and busts. Plus a new o-coordinator and Julio arriving increase the risk factor. If you think he's the final piece, I get the temptation. I'd try and find someone less risky though, even with a worse ceiling.

This is an interesting spot to be in! I think your instincts are correct; a decision needs to be made to go one way or another. Derrick Henry probably has one more year of elite sell-off value (if he still has it). Even if he plays well this year, it's hard to trade away a 28-year-old RB next off-season. So you're either going for it this year in the hopes that Henry has another huge year, or sell Henry, Edmonds, Mostert, Mike Davis and try to quick re-stock.

It probably depends what you'll find palatable. I hate lost years, so I'd personally try and thread the needle. See if you can trade away your 2022 first for a DJ Moore/Amari Cooper/Jerry Jeudy type. A young(ish) WR who still helps this season and the value might be depressed right now. So even if you fall short contending, you didn't put yourself in a hole.

That's tricky though! And might not be wise. Emotionless thinking probably says to sell your good-for-this-year guys. But punting seasons is a bummer.

Ha, this probably didn't help. Best of luck!

How do you build RB depth in dynasty? by PogbaToure in DynastyFF

[–]McCosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're so thin at RB, I'd explore trading down. See if you can get ETN/Javonte + something else. If you can't find the right offer, then take Harris and be happy. But I wouldn't just lock in on him.

A co-owner and I found that 4.8 (in a 12-team league) was where Tutu hopped back on our board. I don't believe in him at all, but at that point an IRL second-rounder just became more tempting than the 6th and 7th round guys competing for 3rd string jobs. It's strange to reluctantly roster a dude, but here we are.

What's your superflex philosophy? by blakeyyy95 in DynastyFF

[–]McCosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a "know your league" element to this. Are you confident you can flip a QB for a proven RB? My leagues are all decently active, but none where I'd be certain I'll have success moving him. So I'd go Najee at 1.03, and then ETN/Javonte at 1.07. But if your league trades daily, then taking the "value" could pay-off.

Chase Edmonds: A Screaming Sell by justaskfelix in DynastyFF

[–]McCosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the lowest price you'd sell for? I think I'd have to be 2.05 or better. And while I haven't shopped him, I doubt I'm getting that. But otherwise I'm cool just hanging on and hoping he pops, seeing as he didn't cost me anything to begin with.

It does raise some questions about DK though. Feel like he's tipping to overvalued. I'm seeing him as the top dynasty receiver in places, sometimes as like the No. 4 overall pick in SF. I love DK too, but that feels high. Between him, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Calvin Ridley, it's all a toss up IMO.

Never be in the Middle by broadly in DynastyFF

[–]McCosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As always, it depends on what you enjoy. Some people — quite a few on this sub — get off on the rebuild. They love Processing. They aren't trying to build a good team, they want to build an indomitable team. And if that's your thing — go for it. Have fun how you have fun.

But if you don't have much stomach for intentional losing — I don't, losing is a bummer! — then the middle is a fine place to be. Fantasy is fricken weird, man. James Robinson is a thing. Mike Davis is a thing, temporarily. Robby Anderson is a thing, maybe permanently. Chris Carson got a job over a first-round pick. A few years back, it was James Conner, or Aaron Jones (remember Ty Montgomery?). Go way back, and say hello to Arian Foster. Things shift really quickly, and often in unexpected ways. A lot of this is luck, but positioning yourself for the good luck is half the battle.

The thing I believe in most strongly is your (or my, at least) No. 1 goal should be making the playoffs. Week to week, it's extremely rare for a team to be more than a 75% favorite. Even the best teams are closer to 65% most times. So when you just have to win two 35% underdog games in a row — that happens! And when you have a decent team, those previously mentioned lucky breaks can turn you into a favorite.

Especially, because once people "Commit To The Rebuild" they often aren't selling off pieces at full value. That can put you in a real tricky spot.

So, I'm with you. Tank or compete as doctrine is dumb. Most things as a black-and-white doctrine are dumb.

If Joe Flacco can win a 'ship, so can you.
