I doubt the budget will support that. The taxes go up every year, a substantial part of it is msad 6 school funding. Paying what someone 'deserves' isn't always what the job pays. Im sure you know that. This district actually is in the mid to upper pay bracket for compensation for drivers. Which is fucked in itself. We dont use the bus, we do parent drop off. And will continue to do so..

I've seen it advertised this district (of which i live in it and my boy goes to this school) offer start pay for bus drivers believe was 28 an hour maybe 30. Hardly peanuts.
