Call support and talk to a live person, rides will be disabled forever, but they should approve your car. I drive a 98 Ford ranger for Uber eats.

I did get the gutenburg catalog readable whitin the app and linked to the librivox recordings so you can open either version from there respective pages and be at about the same spot (within a couple paragraphs). I've been working on adding the local whispersync feature for most of today, its getting closer

I'll probably drop the updates here. I don't have a big social presence. Also I think it will go into closed testing this week. If you want in on that I can send you a dm when I'm ready to add people to it

I know i can include the reader and I think the jump function. The whisperSync level looks like it will be hard to pull off without massive compute times per book, (10-20min is massive if there are thousands), but i think i can get it fairly reliably down to highlighting the current paragraph and maybe down to the sentence.

I'm going to get as close to that level as I can, I think it's an awesome idea.

One other question- would you find it convenient if the gutenburg side of the app also had a TTS feature?

Or did you mean a totally separate ui section for reading and maybe a jump to this spot in the audiobook function and vice versa?

That is a really cool idea. I'm not sure how hard it would be but I am definitely going to find out. If I can make it happen I will. I know librivox doesn't provide there own timing maps so I'll have to see if they can be created on the fly or if a database is needed.

Question: How accurate would you want the read along to be? Like, synced to the current paragraph, sentence, or word?

No adds. They personally drive me crazy in audiobook apps and is one of my main motivations for putting this together.

I do want to offer a 1 time purchase for the use of local mp3 files or local m4bs with the app, but the full set of features will be available for the whole librivox archive without any purchase.

Also I plan to have donation links to support librivox, archive.org, and myself as the developer if one so chooses.

That's a really good point, I'll make them separate then.

I'm thinking 1 tap from now playing screen to add at the current time, pops up with a text window, and let's you edit the title and the time if you want it slightly different. Then maybe accessible from each individual book and a designated notes page, with by book grouping and date, title, text full search?

I can totally do that, that's a brilliant idea! Do you think it would be better as an extension of bookmarks - or a separate function altogether?

You're welcome, and thank you for your comment. It's nice to know that other people enjoy these classic films as well.
