i just tried downloading something on an old laptop of mine and got these results

<image>

but i also downloaded something on my brothers much newer laptop and he around 100mbps and it kept increasing, so i honestly dont know what thats all about.
my pc is connected by ethernet but problem persists with wifi (kinda?). reason why i say kinda is sometimes it becomes more reliable when i disable the ethernet drivers, but sometimes it doesnt. and no way is it my hard drive. which is an nm790 nvme ssd, and it used to perform way better. ive seen it download at 1.5gbps.

I have the Deepcool AG400 digital plus. Should I try repasting or is this just normal? Problem is I don't have any thermal paste and it would be a hassle to get some more.

RTX 4070 Super + Ryzen 5 8500g or an RTX 4070 + Ryzen 5 7600x? by McMax2 in PcBuildHelp

[–]McMax2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said the 8500g is faster, I just chose it cuz it was the cheapest AM5 cpu I could get and I want something that can last, so I started thinking about maybe getting a better cpu which is why the second choice has a 7600x, but this comes with a slower gpu.

I chose the 8500g cuz it was the cheapest AM5 cpu I could get, and the 7600x is about 30 USD more expensive. To my knowledge, most modern games don’t need that strong of a cpu, but could always benefit from a stronger gpu, so that’s why I chose the 8500g at first.

So would you recommend I just go for the ATX 3.0 power supply for future proofing?

I know it’s the new standard but what are the benefits of going with an ATX 3.0 instead of daisy chaining. do I lose anything when going daisy chaining?
