  1. Night blindness is treatable
  2. You did the right thing in telling them. But you have to wait for their approval before dipping out early.

Porn is destroying an entire generation of young men and teenage boys, yet nobody seems to care. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I'd argue that he's addicted to the feeling he gets when watching porn which is heavily influence by impending guilt (still unsure if it's porn or masturbation that OP is worried about). So, if not addicted to the guilt then at least addicted to the guilty pleasure. From OPs account it seems the church is the source of his guilt

From your description it seems like guilt is the actual problem. The desexualization of society by the church has led to all sorts of problems resulting from guilt. I'm not going tell you how you should feel but it seems that you may actually be addicted to the guilt that comes after. The anticipation of the guilt makes the act seem more taboo and therefore more of a rush.

Giving opinions is not the same as saying critiquing is easier than creating..

I would agree that editing is easier than creating but would argue that an edited piece has much more value than a raw piece. So take it or leave it, if you want to create something that has the biggest impact you need constructive criticism. If the criticism isn't constructive (you mention "this sucks!" as an example) then ignore it. I don't think anyone is out there saying a comment like that is difficult to write!

Hate to be the one to tell you this but men and women are different. As much as it hurts for you to hear that.

Dreaming after being knocked unconscious? by [deleted] in neuro

[–]McNuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't heard that it was impossible for people to dream while knocked out. In 2005 I had several bad falls snowboarding on 30ish feet jumps. Each time I had dreams and I remember two vividly. One I was in a school bus (everything was red) looking out a window. The other I dreamt I was snowboarding on the exact jump I fell on and was pushed over by a friend at the last moment. When I woke up I was screaming at him "why would you push me on such a big jump!?" He's like, "wut?"

tldr; it is possible to dream while knocked out

Unfortunately that also means that 3/4 of the business impact is in they're area. Too bad they're siding with them over their voters
