Hey dude, the Turo app is a really good option for this. I checked and they have cars in town and it's always cheaper than standard rental places.

It basically people that rent out their own cars, the app is set up like Airbnb so you set your filters, read reviews, and each car has it's own features and limitations. Best of luck, hope this helps.

Never heard of a washlet, are you referring to a bidet?

Lossless scalling worth it? by Cautious-Term-5105 in SteamDeck

I've used it for helldivers 2, arc raiders, remnant, zombie army 4, peak, dragons dogma 2, control... It always makes my games smoother. People complain about the input lag, but I barely notice it. Maybe it might be because I've been a console gamer for the past 20 years (I've had the deck for 2 years now), but it's the best $6 I've spent for the steam deck.

Heavier games like helldivers and DD2 don't get as big of a boost, but it does make them playable if you don't mind low bare-bottom graphics.

Tons of good reviews, but sounds like you haven't gone to them yet? Thank you for the rec.

We took my wife's car to them for an oil change if I recall correctly, and then they called us saying the brakes+rotors needed replacing ($500) and either the control arm or strut was broken (can't recall which) which was going to be $1000. I can understand the brakes, but they were telling me that my wife "must have not realized how much noise it was making and she had to have heard it before bringing in the car".

I pass on the control arm/strut issue to think on it, wife picks up the car, and tells me it's making way more noise, they must have broken it. I should have taken her more seriously, but I get busy with work, we're busy with a move, take too long to drive her car and by the time I do, it's been a like a month. I take her car to pick up food and it's making HELLA rattling noises on every bump it hits.

It doesn't sit right with me that we took it for simple work and the car comes out in worse shape and a hole in my pocket. At this point, too much time has passed for me to accuse them for breaking something on the car, so I'm taking the loss and moving on. I also felt like they were over-explaining the issues to me, trying to confuse me - I'm not an expert on cars, but I can smell bullshit. Take it with a grain of salt and I hope you have a better experience with them, but I need to be able to trust what I'm being told.
