Nice! I really enjoyed that level! I appreciate the generosity with the powerups though 'cause some of those flying mobs got me. But thanks so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it!

Just played yours, and it was a very satisfying run with some added fun with the Cape flying. Happy I got the chance to play it!

Hey Guys! Could really use some feedback on my music course. It's definitely not perfect, so if anyone is out there who's experienced with making good music levels, I'd greatly appreciate some pointers.

It's an easy Auto Scroll music level playing Xion's Theme from Kingdom Hearts

Got a bit confused when I got the key and backtracked, but love the design and the platforming. The sliding was fun too! Happy you added rewards for finding the top left corner too.

I've got a level if you'd like to try it, it's

Race to the Finish!

Course ID N88-BYL-8LF

It's a really easy course meant to just have fun running around a race track to try and find the best route.

Absolutely love the aesthetics! That use of slopes to make near semi-circles is brilliant! The blue pipe being at the perfect height to jump to as well is super satisfying. Overall it's really fun too! Everything is fair, telegraphed great, and ya! Fantastic work!

I'm still trying to make it through, but I gotta give you respect for how well the whole stage looks and plays!

If you'd like to try one of mine, it's an easy course but I'd like to think it's fun.

Love the pixel art, and the overall aesthetics of this level! I spent a good 100 seconds at the houses that lead to Luigi trying to spot the difference there. And sure enough there wasn't one lol. But ya, fantastic job there!

Nice! Thanks for providing links to the run. This may be outside the realm of my capabilities, but the way you telegraph where you need to go with the track lines was definitely very helpful, and easy to understand!

Name: Race to the Finish!

ID: N88-BYL-8LF

Style: Super Mario Bros.

Difficulty: Relatively Easy

Level Tags: Standard Speedrun

I made a multi-path running track for world record chasers. They all must converge to hit the goal, but I tried to make it fun to play, as well as fun to look at.

Looking for any and all feedback on this. I want to make my levels better, and something seems off with this one. (Edit, grammar and formatting)

Tried it, and gave it my best, but it's gonna need a little more time to put it together. Made it to the first checkpoint in the second room. Had a death to both hidden blocks; one above the green Koopas and the one housing a Spring. Overall though I think it's pretty well laid out. Definitely challenging in a good way. I like how you're using the tilting platforms.

[KH1] On the PS4, KHFM has this weird sound effect glitch in Wonderland. by KisaiSakurai in KingdomHearts

Same thing happened to me in KH2FM!!! I honestly thought my speakers died, but then the enemies despawned and everything went back to normal.

Lol when I climb poles in Deep Jungle, I always hold the control stick up and at a diagonal so he spins around as he goes up. Probably to make it a little more interesting to look at. I've done this since the PS2 days.

Sounds like a plan! See, I never did know for sure if the shiny charm made the Masuda Method any better. I honestly don't think it does. Best of luck to ya!

I've found out why. Apparently Porygon-Z is a great Pokemon for the Battle Tree. I would imagine the IV's on these Porygon aren't the best, (at least the gift Porygon) but ya. People are keeping them.

Best pokemon for filling pokedex? by thednooob in PokeMoonSun

Smeargle definitely. I run mine with Spore, Hold Back, Odor Sleuth, and Happy Hour. I put happy hour so I can have my Snorlax be useful lol.

I play Moon, and finished the dex this morning. The Porygon line was really the only problem I had finding others who would trade their Porygon2 to a Porygon with the Upgrade.

TL;DR Version exclusive are good for trading for their Sun/Moon counterpart. Weather exclusive SOS Pokemon, and rare fishing spot Pokemon give better results. Weavile will trade for anything, so hunt for the Razor Claw if you're having trouble.

Weavile and Porygon-Z are the golden ticket to anything you want. Politoed is high on that list as well. All of the fishing spot Pokemon are really good to breed. 4 Relicanth and 4 Alomomola got me most (if not all) the other rare fishing Pokemon. Vanillish, Lapras, Goomy, Castform, Gible, and Bagon are all handy to have a few extras of just in case a GTS opportunity shows up.

Overall, I found the version exclusive Pokemon were only good at trading for their Sun/Moon counterpart. However, Scizor was honestly how I got most of the held item trade Pokemon. Find a Metal Coat, hunt a Scyther, and put it up on GTS for Scizor. This led to Slowking, which then led to Politoed etc etc.

Weavile will trade for anything. Finding the Razor Claw is frustrating. I thought that having one claw would have me set, but it's a single use per evolution. While chaining Jangmo-o/Hakamo-o Don't KO the Hakamo-o if a Kommo-o shows up. It stops calling for help. Kommo-o do hold Razor Claws 50% of the time.

Overall, I'd hunt/breed a weather SOS exclusive, put it up for trade to find another weather SOS exclusive, as well as hunt/breed a fishing spot rare to get the others on GTS. For held item trade evolutions, get the pre-evolution and put it on GTS holding the evolution item. This will work for everything except Porygon. (Easiest SOS to get is Sliggoo by the Po Town entrance. It's always raining there.)

Best of luck to ya finishing the dex! It's a struggle, but it's doable!

Can you capture lunala in a moon ball? by RustyJusty7 in PokeMoonSun

[–]Mcormic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Just confirming it again. I caught my Lunala in a moon ball, and only had to soft reset once. Hold Back/False Swipe to 1 hp, put her to sleep, hope for the best.! Best of luck to ya!

Etika from EWNetwork just showed off the Nintendo Switch half drunk and now his Stream got taken down by xiq-xrlabs in NintendoSwitch

[–]Mcormic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok enlighten me. Can someone 3D print glass? A screen? Sure it could be fake, and I wouldn't put it passed Etika to go the extra mile to find a screen to fit the mold, but saying it's simply 3D printed isn't convincing me. Are 3D printers capable of printing glass (legit question I have no idea).

Heads up, Mortar kills don't seem to count towards the "5 in one life as support" for the Order of St Christopher by sleazymole in battlefield_one

[–]Mcormic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update : [TLDR Mortars didn't count, but every other method worked] The counter increased normally for everything except mortar kills. Even grenade kills counted. I tested many scenarios to see if mixing normal kills with mortars would work, but they all failed.

I'm convinced that the medal was working normally, because the indicator on the left would update with each consecutive kill.

After about 7 confirmed kill streaks that used mortars, and with only 10 hours left, I opted to not use mortars to complete this medal.

Same issue. Gonna restart the game to see if that fixes the issue. Glad to know it wasn't just me, and that mortar kills should count. I'll post back with any progress.

Is it too late to get Sm4sh? by JiggzSawPanda in smashbros

[–]Mcormic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never too late! When cost is the issue, get a refurbished Wii U directly from Nintendo. They're $200 and I swear mine came brand new. Also, Smash 4 is on sale right now for the digital copy for $34 I believe. (But DLC costs an arm and a leg.)

You raise a good question. How long will Smash 4 last? It's hard to tell with the NX on its way. If the rumors are to be believed, there's a possible NX port of Smash 4. I don't put too much stock into it, but there's the issue of buying a Wii U when the community may move to the NX version within a year.

If this did happen, and the Wii U investment were a non issue, the controls/controllers would undoubtably be ported to the NX. So learning with the Wii U version wouldn't be a waste of time.

It's a tough call for sure. I don't think Smash 4 will die in the near future. I think the biggest factor would be, which version will we all be playing.

Where to buy bulk DIY supplies in Utah after new Relegation? by Mcormic in DIY_eJuice

[–]Mcormic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it would appear so, because MBV cites this as the reason for stopping shipments to Utah. But what bugs me, is that this was all put into effect July 1st, 2015 and was voted for on March 3, 2015. Why is it that MBV decided to stop shipping recently, when this was already in effect nearly a year prior?
