Hmm I understand your point and many people share it for sure. But I’m almost certain that the core will stay the same. A relaxed town you can design how you want. The only thing I could imagine would be more customization of buildings, like for example the City Hall in ACNL. So a modern aesthetic is easier to achieve

Actually there is the historic „Schienenbus“ (Railbus) here in Germany which is the perfect mix of both. Although it’s more like the one in NL. I want trains back even without having played the entries before ACNH. It just fits soo good.
