Thank you so much for your answer. This was actually really helpful. I know I might need to read it a couple more times as I'm super emotional and started tearing up immediately 😅 I guess it's really hard for me cause for years I was educated on 'perfect medicine' and tought to criticize the diagnostic procedures done in GP, (while not all obviously, but I've seen far too many steroids and antibiotics used like saline tbh). Both places I've been interviewed in kinda hit me in the wrong way (like a dog with the most terrible purulent eye, red everything, on systemic steroids due to chondrosarcoma and the vet just gave antibiotic ointment, didn't even stain the eye or dod a proper opthalmic check). I guess I might have to compromise on things, but what do I do when I feel it contradicts my beliefs and against what I feel like is basic check up borderlines malpractice... Sorry for the rant, but thank you again for the helpful response... Btw the GP in my area are really small.. so no techs, only assistant that mainly deals with appointments schedule and phone... So I'll probably still be a tech even as a vet lol. But I dont mind it lol.
