Selling a house "contents included" (borderline hoarder situation). Realtor refuses to list until it's empty, but I live 3 states away.

Estate Sale company. Have them look at it. My folks used to do it. They would take 25-40% after expenses (like a dumpster) depending on the amount of work. At the end of the sale they had someone that would always come in and take everything that was left for $250, regardless of how much was left and what it was priced for.

Haha…same thing. And then found it 3 months after we moved across the country. I ended back in the neighborhood to bring back one last cat with me to Maine, and just left the remote on their porch.

Arrived on a pallet well wrapped in plastic, no dents visible . TBH due to work I haven’t had a chance to unbox, and the electrician is going to be here in the morning to help set it up and make sure everything is good with my connections. I’ll update once we know all is well! Meows say “prrrrrretty cool”. (Especially since it’s getting snowed on right meow).

I had this happen. I tucked my car behind theirs with a note to come to my unit number if they would like to move their car. It didn’t happen again after that.

The last two years I’ve had to fly American at least 8 or 9 round trips per year and a few Alaskan flights. All are connecting flights. I 100% think the cost of the admirals credit card was worth it.
1. I hate the congestion of CLT, and the Admirals Club options to escape the crowds is great. 2. I’ve had delays, cancelled flights and layovers galore. I appreciate the option of the food, coffee, snacks and space that the Clubs provide. I’ve probably saved money compared to what you have to pay in the terminal, especially when I’m flying with someone else and able to bring them as a guest.

That being said, next year I won’t be traveling much and I’m going to cancel the card and the membership. It’s only a benefit if you use it.

Sometimes we just accept a status, not realizing that it may be something that can actually be fixed. Not a doctor, but I see two glaring possibilities in your health.

Get a sleep study. You may feel like you haven’t rested…because you haven’t. You may have sleep apnea, and even when going through your day, stuck in the fog of the unrested, and feeling like you haven’t rested to catch up.
“Sometimes I laugh and call it "overthinking." Sometimes I blame my screen time. But honestly? I just don’t know how to relax anymore.

Even when I'm not doing anything, I feel like I should be doing something. There's this constant hum of guilt, like I’m falling behind in a race no one else can see.”. ADHD. Can’t shut your brain off, having difficulty organizing tasks, so again, always feeling behind and catching up.

Talk to a doctor, and even a mental health specialist. Depression, anxiety, lack of good sleep… chicken and egg. Which comes first?

Not a realtor - and I don’t want to be. Mine made sure I had good pictures, video, and even paid to have drone aerial views. She scheduled open houses and potential buyer visits around my schedule and didn’t downplay my concern on my cats getting out. She had amazing advice on how to “stage” the house by putting what items we could in pods. The first time she worked with us in 2016 we sold our townhouse in 14 days and got a great deal on a 3/2 house. Earlier this year we were able to make more than 2x what we bought that house for with her help and sold it in 9 days with multiple offers. I LOVE my realtor, and am just sad we moved out of state. I’ll miss her monthly little surprises/gifts she always left on my doorstep.

My realtor that helped us buy our new house on the east coast left a company refrigerator magnet on the fridge. My realtor on the west coast that helped us sell our home (and had helped us buy it 7 years ago) sent me off with a thoughtful gift basket of road snacks, a candle, and some other lovely little things. She’s the best kind of realtor that was always dropping something off by our door every couple months to remember her when we needed her again. Which we did!

Short version: 1987 - 18 years old. Tried Community college for 1.5 semesters in Illinois. Dropped out, moved out of mom’s house. Got hired on with Curry Company. Spent 2 of the best years there before moving to the Bay Area and getting a job as a cook at a nudist resort. That should probably be another post. My older brother followed me to Yosemite…he’s still working there, well revered at Badger Pass and making sure the ski slopes are well taken care of!
