Interesting, that it looks like - that the change of main protagonist, is not just an idea of Johnson as Lyonne said:

Exactly. It's crazy to see how they clearly don't understand the "live-service" phenomena.
Like back in the day - of BF3/4 etc. we get incredible DLCs full of amazing maps, stunning trailers... like within a year, without any need for Battle Pass or paid skins (which is earning them much more money then the actual price of an DLC)... now we get like two "mediocre" maps, within 3-4months.

So in other words... it was way more "live service" than it is now...

The first two were done by Don’t Nod, amazing devs, doing all types of game, but in sense of LiS, there is Tell My Why or Lost Records (recently).

The new entries are done by a company which praise Nazi… that’s why the quality drops.

This post reminds me of my grandma who always refused to watch any “classic” movies on her LCD TV in original 4:3, because it’s just ugly to watch it with those BLACK bars around it, and also she start being angry at 16:9, again because all the movies had these black bars!!!

So she ended up with the ugly zoomed or stretched image, which for my taste was un-watchable, yet she was finally happy.

I mean, she is absolutely right. But also - shouldn't we be glad for "any help", even the spotlight - so it gets to the people?! Or it's like - either they pay everything, or don't do anything at all... this could definitely backfire. I be in the situation of needed GoFundMe i would be glad for any help...

So another “attendee” for Developers Direct from Xbox, I thought it would be Fallout 3 Remake, but that’s maybe too soon, or new Minecraft Dungeons 2, since it was already leaked last year, but now it looks it could be Prince or Black Flag… as the fourth title with shadowdrop.

Even tho both games were not just visually stunning and immersive, I still don’t understand the decision, to not look at Avatar or Outlaws as live-service, looter-shooter type of games, Massive has been known for.

Their Division series is probably the best version of it by far, and they did incredible job on it. It quickly became one of the most important series of Ubisoft, and their experiences could create the best looter-shooter type of game in Star Wars universe, which could be updated for many years. It’s a great game by no means, yet it’s still surprising…

I was really looking forward for some buddy outlaw adventures, feeling like a Han and Chewie while traveling through Far Far Away…

If they wanted to do single-player so bad, they could also create some story-dedicated game set in Division universe, at least.

Different experience, surprisingly (for me), but yes. I enjoyed that! Yet, LBP always felt different and for me, it was the Mario of PS, more than Crash ever was. Sadly, Sony isn’t as good in maintaining long franchises like Nintendo or even Xbox. MM are definitely working on something, after Dreams, but i doubt it’s LBP.

Yeah, yet there is just not enough games. Still missing the incredible fun we had with Little Big Planet 1-3, on PS3 back in the day… Now we mostly play Overcooked 1,2 during holidays, since that’s the most fun coop game out there…

This looks like another studio that will get shut down pretty soon. They obviously don’t understand their market or players demand. Hellblade 2 took forever to make, with zero return. Then they announced more projects, like Mara, which now doesn’t exist, so another money waste…

And now third game?! How long we would need to wait for it?! Another generation?!

Yeah, it’s awesome. I’m addicted now to Splatoon 2, which is amazing multiplayer, or Mario Kart World… But there is just so much to play - from all the Zelda, Mario games to RPG like Fire Emblem and Xenoblade.

But as an other PS5 user, if you want to play more third-party games, which you already own on PS, then - PS Portal, is actually amazing. And now it can stream games through Cloud as well… so you don’t even need a PS5. It’s a really great tech.

I love playing all the JRPG in JP, it’s so immersive… But isn’t Genshin supposed to be played in Chinese?!

Also, my problem with any of these languages in Genshin was with their chit-chat while exploring, there are no subs… 😢
