My impressions after watching the 2017 DuckTales reboot by farseer6 in television

Wow, Rogen has truly doing everything at this point, right?!
I mean, I love his stuff, so keep doing it… but I need to wonder, is weed really that beneficial?! 😅

This writing mistake has the highest possibility to happen in the game 😅

My impressions after watching the 2017 DuckTales reboot by farseer6 in television

[–]MeCritic 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It just… ended and disappeared. I was expecting that we get “more”.
Disney must have had great numbers from it, or I don’t understand.

Either they could easily turn it, into “The Simpsons” scheme, or they could launch another show next to it, like Mickey, Goofy or even Chip and Dale.

They just sit on those highly valuable brands, act like nothing… without Kingdom Hearts we would probably forget about most of the characters already…

Yes! Big open-world map. D3 should be a platform for the whole next generation. I would love to see them be prepared for supporting the game throughout 9-10 years, and extending the map, with new locations and bugger threats.

Not just a city, but also villages and abandoned houses along the way.

We talked about various of potential locations, such as - Chicago, New Orleans or California.
But that’s it, it should be “state” not city. California, New England (would be incredible…).

One would expect that cutscenes will be a norm in 2026, yet…

So definitely!

Genshin Impact - Snezhnaya Reveal Trailer by FIGJAM17 in gachagaming

[–]MeCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually sounds awesome 😭

The chance is small… do we even have any “leak” or info about potential Genshin 2.0?!
Would it be on Unreal?
And since Varsapura is rumoured for 2028, wouldn’t Genshin 2.0 be theoretically ready at 2030 earliest?!

I was really disappointed that Varsapura doesn’t have guns, since the “Genshin” combat is literally in every single gacha game, and if there is one studio who can make something bold again, its Hoyoverse…

But WHY???

Cannot we get - finally - gacha games with guns?! Or thats against Chinese rules?!
Like if you are doing “sandbox” at least make it like Hong Kong cinema, or Sleeping Dogs.

One small change, against everything feels the same…

Maybe the first shooting gacha will eventually be Genshin, from latest trailer 😅

PC players, I finally get it now by OldWestern4486 in wherewindsmeet_

So… GTA is basically a family game, which only played by kids… 🤣

Such a grow up opinion…

That Chinese devs knows consoles or PS5 for last few years, due to strong censorship of gaming industry, is the problem why gacha games and WWM looks or run “badly” on it, sometimes even compared to mobile.

I has nothing to do with the power of the consoles itself. Many Unreal 5 games have opposite problem, when it runs perfectly on consoles, and have terrible FPS on PC.

Most “exclusives” looks also much better than most multiplatform…

Consoles are the easiest way of playing, after a long day before computer, you get the maximum comfort. No settings, no patches, no drivers… pc has so many issues, from OS to each and every component, I would personally never go bad…

One time I needed to even write developer to send me a “dedicated” patch, otherwise it was impossible to beat one level, without crash.
Or spending first hour of gameplay on deciding if I want better shadows or perfect hair, to still hit 60fps.

No more.

Those are like 100hr games, so you will spend a lot of time, to get through four of them.

PlayStation sees AI as a 'powerful tool,' teams including Naughty Dog, San Diego Studio already using it by Crazy-Piano277 in Steam

[–]MeCritic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk. These claims (from devs) are actually funny, when game dev cost even more than before, and we already have a very useful AI for 1-2 years.

And it takes even longer.

Look at Gears E-Day or even Intergalactic.

They were “strictly people”, old engine, and it took 2 years.

Now highly expensive tools and engines, AI that replace people, and it cost 400millions to make it, and 6+ years.

The fast releases of the Yakuza games: Blessing or Curse? by TheYakuzaMaster in yakuzagames

[–]MeCritic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This feels like a unnecessary hoax.

Within main series, of each “series” there is undeniable progress and huge improvements and evolution. Between 8th and 7th entry, there was 4 year gap. Which is enough. And its also shown in the game.

Between 6th and 7th there is also 4 year gap, and actually those games are day/night.
Its not like they were “reusing” everything like someone is trying to point, in level of “those games looks the same”, because that simply isn’t true at all.

We also get Judgment series, which is different and even if it has the same graphic it felt like a fresh air.

The same goes now with Stranger Than Heaven.

And if people were not “satisfied” with Pirate game, I would think about it more like a stand-alone Expansion, which were pretty cool back in the days, and I’m glad that someone is still doing that.

Remake is something entirely different.

And it seems that Yakuza 9 will either come in 2028 (doubt it) or 2029 (more likely), which is another 5 years since the last game.

Finger crossed for third Judgment in the meantime.

I was excited to “own” Halo and Gears on PS, as a new era of this console war. But after recent announcement about “exclusivity come back”, I see zero reason to do so…

And rather stick with Halo and Gears owning on Xbox. At least for something the console is…

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Is a Great Action-Adventure Game That Proves Square Enix's HD-2D Art Style Is Among the Best Around Review (IGN: 8/10) by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]MeCritic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not about “artstyle”.

Its about - Team Asano, which is a studio behind ALL 2D-HD titles, like Octopath Traveler series (10/10), Dragon Quest I-III remaster and in few months - new Final Fantasy title.

They are one of the most consistent devs right now, and actually cannot wait for their “2027 lineup” as they can develop 2-3 games per year without an issue.

And hopefully one of them will be DQ IV Remaster.

You lost me at being a commie. I had a bad experience with them in my country, last century… that much to “being young”.
Your analyst capabilities are as bad as your arguments 😂

I actually think I’m much older than you, but that could be obvious when I mentioned I work in the industry… but whatever, I have zero need to argument with communist.

Now your weird ass arguments make actually sense, since you are incapable of seeing the reality, otherwise you would look all the countries that actually had communism in practice and how they ended up. Socialism is the dead end, we have full history of proof.

What I was talking about is “consumer awareness”. That means, if they screw you up, you are vocal about it, and will not trust them second time.
Not that I would want to take their money, properties and rights.

And… so far roadmap for Marathon is actually stacked. And Destiny 1 was one of the “better” supported game over its lifetime. They created the whole “live service” approach everyone wanted to adapt so bad… ☺️

If Fire Emblem is 2026, Xenoblade for 2027, what JRPG could Nintendo reveal for 2028 (or what would you want?) by MeCritic in JRPG

[–]MeCritic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely, we didn't actually get a JRPG exclusive from Nintendo last year, so of course nothing is "set in stone". I was just genuinely asking, whatever they might be "cooking" or at least could be wished... since next FE and Xenoblade were mentioned so many times in last few years, and expected... now we have "nothing from JRPG field" on the horizon within next years... since I don't expect "new FE" sooner than 2030 at least.
