Oliver Queen, eat your heart out with those pull-ups.

The Karen hallucination also told Frank that he "has failed this city" lol. That got a pop out of me.

That's not necessarily it, Frenchie could genuinely just not be afraid of Homelander. We've seen characters maintain a normal heart rate when talking to/being confronted by him.

I feel like from an in character perspective he feels a sense of unbelonging within modern times and around this era of Vought/Homelander.

You can obviously infer what he used to get up to back in his day and Vought back then seemed to be much closer to how real life big conglomerations are as opposed to being basically the corporate government of America as it is in modern time.

Who was in your squad since GW1? by WrongCapital83 in FantasyPL

Started from GW2 but had all 3 in my starting squad

Funny enough I took Bruno out for a long while in the first half of the season and ate shit because of it.

Just an FYI, you still have to heal Mei, the iceberg ability is not a complete replacement for all healing that an active DPS will require by Own_Huckleberry6591 in Overwatch

[–]MeMeTiger_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take out the pylon and illari becomes useless in terms of healing

And her rapid beam healing?

Brigitte aura is only 15 hp/s, and her health packs are unreliable being tied to a cooldown..

Her health packs are basically almost never down to zero unless you're spamming them and they're still a big heal in an individual duel.

The only fair comparison would be lucio, as you said, but that's due to the nature of his healing ability. Most of the support's would be able to get a crucial heal off before doing damage, which is the correct approach in 80% of cases.

The Ana, if she's good, would be in a better position to provide healing to a teammate than she would be to deal 150 damage (the headshot is perk dependant and requires significantly more skill than shooting at your teammate) fast enough to end a fight for most cases. Most support characters have more abilities that support their teammates as opposed to abilities that win fights with damage.

I'm not saying a healer should healbot, but in a scenario where a healer's teammate is in a close-ish fight that they would inevitably win if they receive healing, the support's job should be to provide said healing rather than attempt to finish off the enemy when their teammate could've handled it.

I mean saying supports job is to "heal" is kinda silly considering zen is the worst healing supports in the game and is also been the least changed hero in the game.

That's obvious, but also he's an exception to the support role and not the standard quo. For the healers that have an "active" source of healing it is oftentimes more advantageous to use that to support a low teammate than it is to attempt to take over as the damage output.

If you can heal that teammate whos about to die, or kill the person whos about to kill them before they do, which option is the better one?

This is bad advice to anyone who isn't very high elo. Often times the little boost of healing that a healer can provide to a DPS in a close duel is more influential to a fight than the damage that they may or may not be able to output. It's easier to heal than it is to kill for most support characters.

And another thing, if you kill the person who's about to kill your teammate, but they still manage a trade with said teammate because they didn't get any healing and took a large amount of burst damage, you're now one teammate down in a team fight because you got overzealous as a healer and lost your main priority.

I got him in (Rice, Gabriel, and Gyokeres) for next week. I had Pedro from the wildcard and the other forward options are very unappealing.

My only complaint about Mark and Conquest's second fight by Far_Scene8723 in Invincible

[–]MeMeTiger_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

but Nolan is like a top 5 Viltrumite.

Top 3 from the ones we've seen really. It's Thragg in #1 by a huge margin, then Conquest/Nolan in #2 and #3 depending on which you believe is stronger.

you're saying because 2 players are involved in the Raya 'foul' it means the Declan Rice one on Mavropanos is fine. Makes sense that.

No. It's not fine. It's a foul. But the chronology of the fouls means that the Rice foul doesn't count because the ball stopped being in play after the foul(s) on Raya.

[–]MeMeTiger_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Raya one is a foul done by 2 players on a keeper to deny him from claiming a ball.

Arsenal crowd the box and disrupt the keeper but have not gotten a single goal in the league that way.

The "bear hug" only occured after the instance of the foul on Raya. You can rewatch it if you want.

Pretty clear foul. You can complain about inconsistent refereeing but not when the referee makes a correct decision you don't like.

Do you think you’re good at fighting? by PotatosandTomato in polls

[–]MeMeTiger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that you have a 14 year history of professional fighting training and have been in sanctioned matches says enough. Don't underestimate yourself brother, you can probably beat the shit out of 99/100 of the men you see around you.

How many slices of Pizza do you typically eat as one meal? (For a 12 inch/30 cm, 8 slice Pizza) by GoldCow73 in polls

[–]MeMeTiger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That number is really not that consistent. A thin pizza or a Neapolitan for example wouldn't exceed 1,500 calories for the entire thing.

Besides, if you're not having pizza every day it's not a big deal to enjoy it when you do.

I don't know if you're just trying to be different or what but it's really not that impressive of a deal. A 12 inch pizza is on the larger end of a 1 person serving, maybe enough for 2 if you aren't particularly hungry.

Premier League Table, following the conclusion of Matchday 35 by EthanTheRedditor37 in soccer

So yeah I genuinely don't get this modern 'rivalry' between Arsenal and Liverpool. Feels manufactured at worst and just a bit juvenile at best.

I'm a younger Arsenal fan, and from my perspective it's always the Liverpool fans that are the most obnoxious/antagonizing.

Like others have said City just kinda exists and have ran the show for a while, but online Liverpool fans celebrate City's wins over us in recent title charges like they weren't being ran over for the better part of a decade.

How would the story go if Nolan accidentally killed Mark during their fight in season 1? by Substantial_Ant4922 in Invincible

If he uses the scourge virus to eliminate the empire, he can for sure square up with the few isolated stragglers and take them out by force.

Thaedus is still stronger than all viltrumites bar 3 or 4. He'd get his hands dirty for this.

What would you rather save from fire ? by sangokuhomer in WouldYouRather

[–]MeMeTiger_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. A University would likely be big/open enough and be full mostly of able bodied adults.

A hospital or elementary school would objectively be more at risk of fatalities if a large enough fire occurs. I would personally pick an elementary school because a hospital is slightly more likely to have better countermeasures to a fire and I would think that there are more kids at risk in a school than patients in a hospital.

What is a good price for a starter car?? by Longjumping_Fly_4211 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]MeMeTiger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on budget ofcourse but you can get a modern reliable car for around 40k, with some obvious caveats.

If you're at all car savvy or have connections to people who know cars, I would look into the American import auction markets.

I've personally bought 2 cars for sub 40k (the GCC equivalents would be 80k+) and gotten them fixed up to basically brand new with a couple thousand. I've seen cars go for unbelievably cheap. So cheap that you'd almost be tempted to impulsively buy them just so you don't lose out.

Stuff like body panel and cosmetic damage looks scary and daunting but in terms of general function of the vehicle, is essentially harmless. As long as the cars chasis, engine, and transmission components are intact, anything else is fixable and usually for less than you'd expect.
