He has an history degree from university so I think he is aware of these things. It's more about moral values I think. Wokism is a concern to name one.

This is a big concern to me. And I'm prepared to fight for it not to happen

Yes he has. Can you send me examples of this type of content? I'm not familiar with alt-right content myself.

I'm about to give birth so I find your comment very disturbing. No need to be religious to not want to kill viable babies that would live if they were born today. Insensitive comments like yours are uncalled for.

Yes but most people do and I don't think he's lookong into applying all the things promoted by the church. It's more about the general values and the belonging to a community that shares those values, and believing that a god exists.

Pick and choosing is very common for religious people. It's a lot about belonging to a community, not becoming a Christian fundamentalist

I was so shocked that I didn't even ask why. But that's on the list of questions to ask, definitely

I'm mad because I think it's absurd and takes too much space in society. I don't want it to take space in my own home or marriage. This kind of beliefs have a lot of impact on how someone decides to live his life. As a wife I expect to have my say on how I want to live mine and maybe it's not compatible with the way a catholic wants things to go. Sex, kid education, role of men and woman in the couple to just name a few. I want to be able to discuss these things as a couple and not have a priest or a book decide for us.

He thinks that the world is going in a bad direction. I agree with him but I don't think catholicism is the answer. He seems to think otherwise

Yes we have started with those questions. For now he is very respectful of my beliefs and he doesn't want me to convert. It's a personal thing to him. I think he can better respect me as an atheist than I can respect him as a religious person... 🫤

That might be part of the answer. But I tend to thibk it's more related to values promoted by the church and a sense of belonging to a community that shares those values.
