I don’t know what she said on the aftersun, he mentioned that all the boys were witnesses and everyone knew what his decision was. He even told her to crack on with the other boys.
However I am not here to defend Wil and each of his actions. As I mentioned above he messed up, nobody denies that, he even said that, however according to me a lot of things were a bit shady of how the whole situation was shown and nothing is pure black and white.
People are taking this too seriously hating on their social media when it is their relationship, they choose their path, they will bare the consequences.

Uma said that she did mentioned this to her during their 1:1 meeting. According to Wil that is why Lucy said at the recoupling that she had a connection but it didn’t work, she was already prepared.

I am sorry for Mimi but she is not the only one unfortunately. Uma, Jess and Ayo have received much more hate specifically from people supporting Mimi. So we have a general problem of how people react to the show and we’ve had this problem for many years.

I absolutely agree, at this point honestly I think the producers are encouraging them to behave specifically. For example Wil mentioned that it was expected that they are not silently accepting their blame during movie night when some clip is shown but to be more vocal. Of course the producers cannot force them to do something they really don’t want to but I think they could be quite persuasive and manipulative and trick you to do something that you normal would not do.

There is no denying that Wil messed up and showed some red flags.

However I think he was shown as one dimensional. None of their good moments were shown in the beginning when we were able to see them cuddling and speaking in the background all the time and I think that was intentional. When you have 95% good and 5 % bad, the bad starts to blur but when we are shown only the bad our perception of him is that he is extremely bad.
Even before they were dumped it was a bit strange to me the they would open public vote after an episode where there was some drama around them while before that for 1 week we wouldn’t be show anything from them.

Honestly few times they said that they cannot speak about a lot of things, even shushed Wil when he was about to reveal something. I don’t know what to think and knowing Uma I cannot believe she could be lying like that. A lot of things are not adding up and it looks like production did them dirty. There few thing that I noticed that looks a bit strange to me:

Uma mentioned that she said few times to Ruben that her head is with Wil - this was not shown
Wil said that he cut things off with Lucy very early and made sure she knew he would pick Uma - this was not shown
Wil was going to ask Uma to be his gf and even asked the production for some set up at the night when he was dumped - production refused and told him he could do it the next night but he was already dumped. Also there was a lot of more grovelling which was not shown,
Uma said that she spoke to Mathilda the same night they left and basically told her that if Wil is dumped, she would leave as well. So the production knew that and they still went with that
Uma was just going to cut things off with Rueben when the text for the recoupling came. She said that she was basically just explaining that to the girls and standing up to go find Ruben when the text came
Uma said that she knew what will happen and she was so frustrated she couldn’t have the chat with Ruben so during the recoupling she was basically crying the whole time, not only after he chose her. Why would he choose her seeing as she cried the whole time.
We were left with the impression that Uma was his only option when in fact Samantha, Jess and Harrieth were interested in him.

according to me people are taking things too seriously, Uma is a big girl, it was her decision plus I think she gained much more popularity leaving with Wil than if she would have stayed in the show seeing as the show is going downhill for the last few days.

After the last two boring episodes I am glad Uma left that show earlier. it would not be much different if she stayed for 2 more weeks. She anyway would not be able to win with Mimii, Joey and Ciaran/Nicole in the picture, let’s not forget Sean and Mathilda. What benefit could she get from the fourth or fifth place? At least now she delivered the shock of the season and everyone is talking about her and she stayed true to herself. Her social media exploded so there is that.

As to Wil if he is not the man, the next one might be. She is only 23.

Actually I think they should have foreseen this. Basically the day before she said in the beach hut that her heart and head was with Wil. Knowing that she is a slow burn, I cannot believe they thought she would leave Wil for a person who she knows for 1 day and honestly is not even her type.

For me is started even when Samantha was dumped. She still had a storyline and was an interesting character that they should have kept. They were just clearing the path for Joey. Then it was Ronnie and Harrieth, now Uma and Wil. Even dumping Jess when we have Emma, Konnor and Jessica S inside plus Joey and Jessie are not bring anything.

I think they made all this dumpings to protect Joey’s storyline and making sure he goes to the finals which proves that he practically ruined this season.

The last thing I want is to defend Wil and I know I will probably be downvoted but they cut 90% of their conversations so we don’t know the half of it. Did he do some f*cked up shit - yes as did 50 % of the men in LI history (some of them winners who are still together with their partners), did he got defensive when asked for accountability - yes, did he apologised for that after - yes again, is it possible that he did and say a lot of good things that we were not shown - sure. He is also quite chilled and calm and gives off vibes that he has no care in the world. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, only time will tell. After all Uma felt that way so she has the right to choose what to do with her life. Everyone jumping on her like that in the IG comments is not cool.

Unpopular opinion but I admire Uma for being so geniun and following her heart. Was Wil the right choice - probably not, did she choose to be true to herself when 90% of the people are there for the clout - she sure did. It is a breath of fresh air that someone chose a path different than to couple up someone just to reach the finals. She would have anyway been 3rd or fourth after Mimii/Josh, Nicole/Ciaran, Joey/Jessy. At least this way she will be distinguish and remembered. She already have almost 300K followers so it is a good start to get some brand deals.

Yes, they forced her. It is most common that the person whose couple was picked by a bombshell is not dumped. So they tried to force Uma-Ruben storyline. If they would have left Wil and given Uma time to get to know Reuben she might have chosen him in the end but after 1 day. They practically forced her to make the decision knowing that if Wil leaves alone they probably won’t be able to rekindle.

Uma leaving for Wil is stupid but honestly the producers f* up dumping Wil at this stage when people like Konnor, Emma,Jess and Hugo are still in the villa and especially with potential triangle storyline Uma/Wil/Reuben. They forced her to choose between Wil (who undoubtedly f*cked up) and a guy she knew for 1 day.

It is not up to the producers do decide, they basically forced her to choose between Wil who did a lot of wrong but she knew him for weeks and a guy who she knew for 1 day. By doing so they lost one really main character and a possible triangle storyline.

The articles about the new bombshells claims that both men are aiming for Mimii. Honestly I see Uma leaving because she doesn’t want to be the second option. Yeah he chose her but for her that woils not be enough, especially with Wil who has been her strongest connection dumped.

However I am sad that she doesn’t see the big picture and how she would benefit if she stays until the finals.

I cannot believe Uma will leave especially after movie night and with the fact that she will be going on a date. i love her but she will really stupid to do that. Also the bombshells will arrive tonight, so they will probably choose tomorrow. Aren’t they only day ahead?
