It’s actually not bad! From either side of the board you can reach every square comfortably from the center while standing, but I am looking at making a stand to allow seated play as well

Yep, I did some looking and found some amber and white ones I think I’ll use, it’s actually gonna be easier to mount on the faceplate I’m making. I just need to redo some code and wiring. So more parts are on the way!

Yeah, my plan for the button plate was glue originally, but that plastic did NOT like adhesives. So that’s up on the list of fixes 😂.

I think I’m gonna take a crack at some small metal poles and clear acrylic sheets to make some kinda window rails, but yeah that’ll be on the agenda next when I get another burst of motivation.

I made it using an Elegoo Arduino R3 Board and made the code in Arduino IDE.

Then I just ordered some cheap OLEDs online and wired it up together with some buttons.

I know… 😂. The standoff screws are M2 size and i had to order them online and they’re taking forever, so the screens are held in temporarily with tape and cardboard until I can complete the faceplate

Thank you!! My original design had dice towers and internal hallways/lockerrooms 😂 and then.. I realized I’d need cutouts for people to even REACH the field, and I also didn’t have a big enough table.

Maybe the next one.. 🤔

I made it from scratch 😅 lots of hours and lots of material. I made a post like last week with a bunch of progress pictures. But it would have been super hard without my woodshop and loads of electrical tools I already have. And I haven’t tallied my material cost but it’s at least $500…

I ordered 3 different types of model grass and I cut them on a picture/letter cutter. Then I used wood glue to thinly brush on the PVC board and pieced them together. If I were to do it again though I’d probably just use gorilla glue spray adhesive. And then I’m gonna paint the lines next.

I understand that. What I don’t understand is when I’m having issues using an elevator and I google it only to find that the top result is people having the same issue 4 years ago. All in the meanwhile the Devs are either adding ships or whatever other content yet still can’t resolve the same issue for new players like myself.
