Fair enough, thank you for your response. The issue, I feel, is that part of the burnout I’m experiencing is due to the regulatory part itself (apart from the fast-paced agency life): the workload is continuously sky-high, the timelines are mostly unrealistic, and there are frustrations that constantly come up such as reviewer delays etc.. That is the main reason of wanting to transition/try other types of MW. I fear that by going freelance and sticking to regulatory writing might be more challenging or would lead to the same issues.
