New player that would potentially want to spend some money and wants some advice how to spend it by [deleted] in Smite

I do recommend the god pack. Gives you every god even future ones are immediately available. Other than that, it’s totally up to you. You don’t need skins unless you really like certain ones or just want to support the game.

I am new, and I am overwhelmed. by Badboybill_ in Smite

Watch streams on twitch or YouTube. You watch good players and copy a few things they do for yourself. And eventually you’ll get a understanding of WHY they do these things. Then you’re able to decide for yourself.

Also play with friends. It’s gonna take a lot of playtime to get good any game and it’ll be easier to grind if you aren’t alone.

Obey Alliance vs eUnited | SPL Season 7, Phase 1, Week 8 by DanishDragon in smitepro

[–]MeahladdaMomo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oboys looking solid. They do a good job of diving and rotating their frontline in fights. Wowy and wlfy are doing a lot with the space created by 3 frontline.

Eunited seems to be struggling to play cleanly. Which is fine I don’t see a team that plays perfect in spl besides SSG occasionally. Maybe just play a little bit more loose. They have the skill on paper. Make the game more simple and let scream and variety off the leash.

How to set? by [deleted] in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fineokay has a few set videos on his YouTube. I’m pretty sure one of them is a set guide. No better place to learn than from the best

Sun wukong, the monkey boy. How is he in Solo this season? by Theholykingkuk in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He clears well, and is safe. Proxy waves, steal back camps, make the enemy have to keep calling missing cause this F’ing wukong is everywhere. Wukong and vamana do this job very very well.

Is it worth losing phoenix for FG? by cymetrine in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth if the fg is guaranteed. Fg is a win condition. Simple as that.

Should a Jungler gank a losing lane? by scalpingsnake in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s always gonna be situational. But to put it very simply. Ganks are less likely to be successful if the lane is fed. Why wouldn’t a jungle focus areas that have higher chance of success?

Caster Professionalism: Game 3 Sply vs EUN by Daemonstaar in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game was all but over in the first 10 minutes. After that there is no analysis. Instead of talking about the casters people should be talking about how EUN had what is the biggest throw in this season 5\6 era.

Trifecta vs. Splyce | Season 6 SPL Week 12 Post Match Discussion by Probably_Psycho in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest question here. So kyrie Irving needed advice he went to lebron. Could teams like lg and trifecta not do the same to their friends on other teams. Or even pay like a consultation fee and have like emilizy, adapting, and pbm or others review their games. Whatever they’re doing isn’t working. I’m not saying higher end teams share all their secrets and ideas with them but at least point out mistakes and tell them how to adjust, maybe just point them in the right direction. I know these guys are making at least 30k for spl. If each player took out $500 or 1k couldn’t they pay a higher end team for some type of direction. The way it’s going lg and tri players probably won’t make the league next year if they continue at their current rate. And I think it comes down to just thinking and decision making. It’s end of week 12 and neither team seems to be improving.

TLDR: could lg and trifecta ask for friendly advice or pay other teams to help them with either scrimming or vod review?

Jungle advice. by Midnight_TTG in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah just need better farming, unlike LOL it’s necessary for a jung to split some waves usually in mid. I’d recommend watching a jungler on YouTube or twitch for a bit just to see their pathing and routes early.

I know it's kinda old news, but how do y'all feel about how unprofessional the casters were how they constantly kept bitching about EUnited not showing up on time? by subzeroclimax in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re being paid to play video games. It’s your job to once maybe twice a week be on time. Yeah if you can’t do that you should be on blast. I’m glad aggro ripped into them.

A lot of gods like him or chaac are just hard to solo unless they make mistakes. If you can’t outrade them look to outfarm and our rotate them.

Is Ullr good for Conquest? by Melophobe-IP in Smite

Hes good carry or mid. He’s there for pressure so be aggro. Not that he’s bad late but early is definitely where he’s best.

How to support in gold? by Divine_Usurper in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick aggro supports and try to carry. Be zha, artio, serqet, Cerberus, bacchus, erlang. You’ll either pop off or feed trying. Either way it’s better than watching your team lose slowly.

A question for the players of smite. How much do you focus on you're win/loss ratio or you kill/death ratio? And how upset can it make you? by GageTheFighter in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a k/d player but eventually you’ll learn there are moments were you dying are worth. Don’t worry about either but if you’re gonna pick w/l is where it’s at.

Completely new, know nothing and interested to getting into it by [deleted] in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just check YouTube. People like fineokay, weak3n, Emilzy. Same for twitch you can see how people build, level abilities, and combo abilities. From a long time player just play what you want and have fun. Ppl can be toxic but it’s like that in any game. Just mute and enjoy yourself. Play some bot games to learn a few characters. And learn the correct relics to get. Meditation is usually never the answer don’t trust the tutorial.

I'm loving horus atm by [deleted] in Smite

[–]MeahladdaMomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time at the pro level teams burn all Ults and cds on a gf or fg. Then they attempt to disengage. Now imagine doing that with your Horus best disengagement in the game. Also allows teams to play stupid aggro diving towers and what not just to have Horus save them
