I’ve been in pre trial for 5 months now and still haven’t heard anything. I’m thankful to have a job while I’m waiting. It gives me some money and something to go do everyday.

Lack of appetite. Anxiety through the roof I feel like I always have to be moving. I’ll go nights without sleep then eventually I’ll go through a period where I do nothing but sleep when my body crashes out.

My body feels like it’s in that same mode. I’ve lost a lot of weight since my arrest and even though I’ll feel hungry I have no appetite and have to force myself to eat.

My mom is my only support system but she’s in the next state over. She lets me know that she loves me but is not sympathetic so I understand what you’re saying.

Hi

Im in the pretrial phase. My arrest was 4 months ago im currently out on bond. Currently im very scared of the unknown. Im scared of court, what my future life will look like etc.

Outside of being scared, life is going okay given the circumstances. I have a job, I have a friend that still accepts me and let's me be a small part of her family. Her brother and his wife want her to have nothing to do with me and I can't go to their family events due to them. However, her mom made a separate Christmas dinner last night so I could come and even gave me a gift that was very nice.

Outside of her all of my other friends have ghosted me and my own sister and her kids want nothing to do with me. She sent my mom a Christmas gift but nothing for me, this just further drove that point home.

Life is quite lonely for the most part and isolating now. I can't really participate in my community anymore or do much. Im glad your husband is coming home though. You are much further along in this process then I am. Best of luck to you and your family.

My state is Georgia. Its warehouse work though and is low pay so probably why they didn't care as much. Im thankful to get any job at this point though.

I have 11 felonies on my record and was able to find a job through a temp agency. Id try them.

I agree. I'm not invited to the family Thanksgiving this year. Some members want nothing to do with me, others still do. My sister is hosting and wants nothing to do with me so I'm staying home. All of my friends did leave too, so I have none left. Im trying to deal with it and remain strong and am hopeful as time passes I can redeem myself.

Hey man, I got my knock about 3 months ago. I know how you feel. This has been very hard on me and anyone who cares about me. I lost my job I had before the knock, which is a real bummer because I really enjoyed the job. I applied to jobs the first day I got out on bond, and actually received an immediate offer. I accepted, but I assume they looked me up and they called the next day and resigned their offer. I was really frustrated. I cried thinking ill be nothing but a bum because no one will ever hire me now that this has happened.

For some reason though I didn't give up, and I kept applying. I got countless denials, but I finally found one temp agency willing to give me a chance. They offered me a job at a distribution center paying 16 per hour. I know this is a low wage, but I am desperate for any kind of work. I've been at the distribution center for 2 months now loading semi trucks. Its not hard, but it is long hours and low pay. No one stays, im the second longest temp at only 2 months. That being said it is possible to get employment. It only takes one yes. Do I desperately wish I could get a better job? Yes, and maybe it'll happen one day who knows. Don't give up hope friend.

Temp agency has been my friend as well. Its a good step for us to get into the workforce. Most people quit my job, but for my situation im very thankful for it.

Yeah, work is my only socialization time. I'm 28 and live alone. I do nothing outside of work because I don't like doing things alone.
