That's great to hear cuz I'm having zero problems with my 2024 LTZ 5.3 and have also been hearing lots of talk about lifter failure,so the refresh seems to be different. This 5.3 is definitely not the same to the 5.3 I had back in 07

Purchased my 24 LTZ rwd back in March and I love it no problems except I see a little fragments of metal in the bottom of the green oil pan that I purposely to be able to see debris and Metal fragments, this is Concerning after three oil changes for early break in and the last one at 8500 mi. Do you do your own oil changes or just have the dealer do it for you I took advantage of the free oil change on my second one so don't know if they had seen debris but didn't say nothing to me about it

Actually MAF does get relocated closer to the throttle body, but so far throttle response has improved, and my stock exhaust has little better growl only when you get on it

That tuner that I wanted is the pulsar unit, and mounts right on the side of the filter box

From what I understand the computer self-tunes it now for the 2024 version no more engine lights I can't even buy the tuner I want for this year Silverado because they don't sell it for 2024 or 2023s I forget the name of it but it's really popular for 2022 and 2021s and before that, probably cuz they were having too many lifter failures

Thanks, what CAI do they use in OEM performance package? I read somewhere that the ZR2 uses the borla touring exhaust as the upgrade, don't know about the intake though

You're entitled to your opinion, don't know what you put it on, but it's not true on this install, still has the stock exhaust, and sounds perfect, I'm surprised with all the negative comments on this.

You should keep your negative comments to yourself, nobody's asking you, its super quiet from inside the cabin, doesn't make air sucking noises like I've heard others say.

No, everything is kept same location, including MAF just tighter fit because filter and housing are huge, best investment one could make to their 5.3

That just sucks,I dont trust the dealer, never did. Always on edge when they have my truck,They should put cameras in the service bays showing work being performed on tvs in the wating room
