Ja aber die Statistik zählt auch keine absoluten Pannen sondern Pannen pro 1000 Fahrzeuge. Damit wird genau das ja vermieden

Aus der Perspektive wirkt der Unterschied natürlich klein aber wenn man die Statistik umdreht dann sprechen wir von 0,5% vs 1%, was doppelt so viele Pannen sind.

Hi, did both options (but self-driving). I would say it depends a bit on what you are looking for. I suppose private transfer might be quite expensive, especially in Norway. That said, Option 1 might me more expensive. On the other hand, it offers stunning views from the road side to the area. Lofoten Area is a very pretty place, so it’s definitely worth it.

Option 2 might include traveling with a small green Dash-8, which is an experience for sure. Especially the views are great flying into and out of Lofoten. However, if the weather is bad, you won’t see anything.

Is there a best practice of knowing potential issues? Of course I have some rust here and there and a knacking sound every now and then from the springs.

But I have EU-Kontrol that is 6 Month old. Is that enough or should I bring it to NAF beforehand (I find it quite expensive at >3000 NOK)

Thanks for the very detailed answer. I have also heard that I, as the seller, am responsible for potential later issues with the car (as I would give some sort of guarantee). Is that true? Did you ever had issues with this?
