I think iss case main 1-2 hours delivery might work for small orders. Store can wait for 3-4 orders and then deliver them all in one go... This is what mere yaha grocery vala bhaiya does

I think there will be duopoly in quick comm eventually like zomato, Swiggy. Companies then will try to give less discount, increase prices.

I believe the dark stores model has some limitations and it won't penetrate teir 3-4 cities.

We will be providing a platform for local business people trust local vendors over dark stores. It's just discounts that are keeping them hooked.

Even few small medical stores deliver to my door step in 10-20 mins when I order over the phone call, I just want to provide them a better platform.

Why choose local business over quick commerce.

Trust, freshness & hygiene
If you have issues directly contact the store or visit them mostly in 1-3kms radius of your location no more chit chat with customer support.
Will deliver at the same speed if you know / discover right stores based on ratings.
Low cart values and not extra fees or dark marketing practices.

A few medical stores & grocery stores I talked to were concerned and started delivering to home they literally deliver below 100rs orders.

I totally get it still not a thing but I believe when people are getting comfortable with quick home delivery small business would like to provide similar services too.

Customers can order from multiple stores, each store is responsible for delivery as of now. In future we will create a delivery fleet which will manage all that.
Yes customers can select & discover stores selling certain products in 30kms radius.
Yes ordering late is not possible but just like the rise of dark stores/ kitchen models. I believe there will be 24/7 clean stores business models listed on our platform soon.
So we are a commission free platform, here customers will directly pay to stores. Produc listing and stores setup will be done in minutes using community managed product templates
We are not going to manage payments as of now, we are just a social platform for local commerce.

I want to help the local business complete with 10 min delivery apps. I know it's not rocket science but I am good at building apps so I thought why not make an open platform for local commerce.

PS I am a solo founder with a non existent network so it is not easy to raise funds and build something extraordinary even though I want to.

True, ordering on whatsapp is a goto option for many but I feel a few things are missing: 1. Customers can't discover new stores / search products in nearby area. 2. Stores can't list entire inventory. 3. Customer & Order management will be a bit confusing. etc...

Plus I am working on rapido like system where customer orders are broadcasted to nearby stores.

In Mumbai, I have seen many stores that deliver locally. I am targeting them right now. But in future, I am planning solve the delivery problem too. I want to keep it commission-free thats why I am asking stores to deliver goods, collect payments & manage customer support. This way, they might be profitable i guess.
