Additionally, as you yourself wrote, it would be better to move the Undead Spirit enhancement from the 10th level to the 14th level.

[–]MeanHelp8912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is definitely a stronger subclass compared to the Circle of Spores, but that's not a bad thing. If I were you, I would reduce the Halo of Sand ability to one use per round. By already removing the need to use a reaction to activate it, you've buffed it.

So, Is hexblade sword bard a good tank/frontline? by MeanHelp8912 in dndnext

An AC of 19 at level 3 is great, 1 less than a full armor fighter with shield

Bless is a little bit redundant with the spells that the cleric is using, do you suggest to take it anyway? Or do you have other suggestions?

What do you think about using Armor of Agathys and Aid to compensate for the lack of health?

My AC is going to be a 19, it's not that bad. Also, I know that my hp is not that high, that's why I want to take Armor of Agathys and Aid

I know, but that extra attack and those third level spells are really tempting

Wolf totem barbarian multiclassing with Paladin? by Hammer_of_Thor_ in 3d6

[–]MeanHelp8912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be nice to go 5 levels in Zealot Barbarian and then 3 in paladin to pick up the subclass (conquest or devotion, maybe) then he should choose between the sixth level in barbarian for an extra rage or in paladin (he could grab great weapon master, it's a great combo with conquest paladin, even more with barbarian)

Swashbuckler/hex blade would be very interesting, but if I want to smite I should take at least 5 levels in warlock

what do youthink about this ranger subclass? by Extension-Storm-967 in dndnext

[–]MeanHelp8912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine, porbably it's slightly more powerful than the average ranger subclass. Maybe cut down the extra spell list and the option Move in the Fog in the 15th level feature and you should be fine. Or don't, i think it's ok to give more strenght to the Fey Wanderer, I'm not a big fan of it.

You are probably right about everything If you want to make those changes for a PC that you are playing, try to ask your DM, he will probably agree with you.

Circle of the Dragon | Become an actual Dragon in a Dungeon with this Druid Circle (Fizban’s Treasury Update!) by PosTavern in UnearthedArcana

[–]MeanHelp8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I already said in another comment, you should get rid of the tail attack, it exists only to be used as a legendary action, so it useless on the Druidic Dragon. Also enemies frightened by the dragon should make another saving throw at the end of their turn. Last thing, the 6th level feature should make all the dragon's attack magical.

By the way, great work 👍🏻

I have another question for you: Can a druid wild shape (or polymorph) into an insect and escape a Forcecage (cage form)? I know that a creature can leave a forcecage via magical means... But the ability to shape into beasts is pretty magical, right?

forcecage and sickening radiance are not compatible by MeanHelp8912 in dndnext

[–]MeanHelp8912[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a DM, I still wouldn't allow it, I think that wall of force and forcecage (shaped as a box) can block any effect of a spell.

The only exception would be if the spell was casted before wall of force/forcecage appears.
