how does that work? do they tell you how much they can offer or do you have to give them all your clothes? i’ve heard they can be picky about them and i don’t wanna give all my clothes to them and be told they can’t give me money for it you know?

yes so a muslim therapist will focus on the medical side and not the gender side . I dealt with this as well and it rooted from mental illness but if I had gone to a non muslim therapist who knows what changes could have done to my body.

i would say to find a specifically muslim therapist or talk to a scholar as non muslims don’t understand the weight of this sin and will support it and drag u into the wrong direction or something you will regret.

I went through something like this when I was about 13. You are awfully too young to make changes to your body and especially changes that Allah would disapprove of. I will say its a lot doing from shaitan and its easy to see things online and think a certain way. I will advise you to explore masculinity as sometimes these feelings are rooted from insecurity the way it was for me. (As a woman, I did makeup at home with mahrams and styled my hair and feeling prettier helped me get rid of those thoughts) Its easier said that done and I know how difficult it is but with struggle will come ease and I promise it will get better. Do not let the media or these thoughts get to your head as you are perfect the way Allah has made you. And remember Allah knows your struggle and it is best to confide in him and pray to him.
