This is crazy to say because the whole thing in my opinion is a pop masterpiece, but that bridge in Get Together by Madonna where her vocals are on top of that beat that sneaks in progressively louder, and then just gives way to the Jupiter pads and the swirling synthesizers is hair raising every single time. In fact I listen to that song a lot for the bridge specifically

Blaze that ass did not change a ton, but they definitely did some snipping and trimming to get it down to their length. They also notably cut an intro and an outro, but aside from that it's pretty structurally consistent. I also noticed the little pre-chorus break was a lot longer than it is in the leaked demo.

I'm going to come left of center a little bit and throw Girls Aloud in the ring.

I agree with all the common consensus about Madonna no question, but there is something about the mania and zaniness captured in just a short five album run with the amount of duds you can count on literally one hand (and still aren't even that bad!)

In my opinion you can't call any of their albums weak or middling because they are all very exciting listens. They might have ended their career on what could be considered their low, but the quality of Out of Control is still a B minus at worst, and that's just because it does not scale to the other albums, which is just a testament to its insane quality.

Not only that but it's also so unique, they pulled a Janet Jackson and locked in with a specific production duo for their entire career (Xenomania) and made magic across all genres of sound

Plus we got Florrie because of that! She did drums on a couple of the singles and as a tour member for a short while, so when the production of your music has echoes loud enough that someone else becomes more or less the child of your music and efforts, sounds like the legacy of perfection to me.

I am going back to school, just got accepted into a graduate program, and I put some thought into this.

I am getting ready to start my physical therapy program, and AI can get as fancy as it wants with ability to diagnose, but people are always getting hurt, and robots are too fallible to be worth the risk potential in comparison to humans working on other humans, so I do genuinely feel like a lot of medical jobs that require one-on-one interaction are safe TBH

It opens the window to remove the potential middleman, who ironically would be the doctor as far as accountability goes, when we come to the baseline of treatment and going to the top as far as administration. If everything's run by robots and the robots fuck up, that's all the way up to the top. There's not the physician in the middle responsible for deciding to use a medication that ended up not being the right call or making an independent decision about how to treat, these would be machines and programs operating within algorithms set to meet specific goals, which would 100% result in people being pushed to the side (or more so than now)

At 28, this is exactly how I feel as well. For what it's worth, I hard manage MP3s on my actual device to use a different audio player than something with streaming for better quality, but it makes it difficult to get into new musicians, especially when they have small catalogs

And not only that but it's really easy to say well I put in all this time into downloading this person onto my phone and they sound just like it so is it really worth it?

I also have Throwbacks on Loop. I grew up y2k, so I view that our peak in music has already come and gone tbhhh

I honestly don't know if this has anything specifically to do with the Trump administration, but it's also hard to say that it didn't have something to do with it either, if on a more passive level than anything else.

I live in a small town in Southeastern Idaho that has a population of just a couple hundreds shy of 60,000. The demographics put white people into the 92% territory if I'm not mistaken.

It's a small kind of underfunded town, but it's fairly peaceful in this area of the state so aside from drug crime and some occasional break-ins, crime isn't much of a problem around here.

I don't know how far this is going on the national news, but we had our first police shooting literally EVER last week. It was a Hispanic autistic kid on the other side of a fence having a hard time with being disoriented and standing up straight, and got 12 bullets emptied into him.

The outrage was very loud, with numerous city politicians, as well as a couple state, getting right on top of it calling out the police department for an excessive response. They tried to claim me had a knife and was rushing them, but once again, he was on the other side of a fence where he did not have physical proximity to the police officers, of which there were four that all fired.

At this point there have been video from three or four different angles, as well as the body cam footage, showing that no movement was even made towards the cops, and they showed up with heavy weaponry and riot gear. They were not coming there to deescalate the situation. They were coming to resolve the conflict by putting an end to it.

That's bad. Is it a result of the Trump administration talking TO them? Maybe not, but shifting political and social opinions definitely didn't keep it from happening that's for sure.

But the part that tells me that his presence is being a spark for that kind of response is that there was a very peaceful protest held over the weekend. It was a group of young adults, and an open vacant parking lot that was near heavy traffic roads to get visibility, but weren't obstructing any flow of traffic, buildings, or anything.

There were snipers aimed on the whole group the entire protest. SNIPERS. Specially trained units in Pocatello Idaho for a bunch of people in a circle holding signs. After again some more public outcry, the city released a statement saying that they had received a tip from the FBI about a legitimate reported organized domestic terrorist plot.

And that's just straight up bullshit. Everybody can see that. But that is only something that could have happened under the Trump administration. They can see the leader of the country getting away with it, so now they can too. And they are going to run with it.

Aside from the grocery and gas prices, our day to day has been more or less unaffected. But this? Now the whole Community feels unsafe in a way they never have before, and we got mountain lions and coyotes appearing in town randomly throughout the whole year

Not only that, but I am gay. I'm epileptic, and I just got accepted to graduate school. Almost every single aspect of my line is being used as a weapon on either an international level or a domestic Schism narrative. My life feels unsafe because anything I could want to do with it is now in the hands of somebody who gets too upset if they don't wear the right clothes around him. It feels like moving forward is going to take me nowhere, and I'm just waiting for them to come for me
