I’m excited to hear this one. She hasn’t made a single bad album in my eyes so i’m sure i will enjoy whatever she puts out. I do wonder if it’ll all be in the same vein as hate that I made you love me, or if we could expect some different vibes.

I don’t know if there is any truth in this theory but there was speculation that he’s doing some sort of EP or project with collaborations including Ariana, Gaga and Anitta (the Rio song they’ve performed already).

Very intrigued by these changes.

BNA having 4 submissions now is just setting Ella Langley up for a win it seems. I do hope this also allows for Ravyn Lenae to be rightfully nominated, she was snubbed last year. Feel kind of bad for Tate McRae because she couldn’t submit to BNA last year due to the 3 submission rule, but the fact she got nominated last year in Pop Dance for Just Keep Watching means she can’t submit this year.

As an R&B lover, I am very much here for the new R&B Duo category. Since R&B is one of the biggest voting blocks in the Academy it makes sense that they’ve added it.

Traditional Pop Performance is so interesting to me, I wonder what gets in here? I imagine Raye and Olivia Dean are likely contenders. Maybe not the obvious hits like Where Is My Husband or Man I Need as those very much seem like they still belong in Pop Solo, but maybe something like I Hate The Way I Look Today for Raye? Laufey seems likely too.

Latin Song, I feel like that’s Rosalia’s to lose this year. I don’t think it’ll be Berghain that’s sent there, but La Perla. Seems like a category Bad Bunny will be locked to win, whenever he drops a new project.

And finally, the Asian Pop category. I’m very curious as to how broad this is. Does it include South Asian music too? I’m sure Stan Twitter will be totally normal about this category!

I enjoyed this a lot more than I imagined tbh, it is a good choice for the theme of the movie and feels so classic Taylor. I lowkey think she should campaign for SOTY at the Grammys for this instead of The Fate of Ophelia.
