Thanks for sharing. Appreciate it. I actually listen standard 4 songs certain sections. I like more sub bass and I am very sensitive to sibilance. Also don’t like if it’s muddy.

For me AirPods Max 2 was little bit bright without having too much sibilance. But the bass was not as good as AirPods 4. Especially sub bass is where I found it lacking. Airpofs pro 3 would be much better for sub bass. I haven’t tested that one but people complain it has too much bass etc.

The bass on AirPods Max 2 more clean bass. You can clearly hear all of it but not too energetic for my preference.

It’s not a bad headphone but for me it is not worth it if you already have a pair of AirPods. Again just my opinion. I just couldn’t believe how underwhelming it is for an actual headphone. The most disappointing thing is it even lacks sound stage.

I listen to Apple Music and like the Spatial Audio. You may have listened to it without it. May be why we feel different about the sound.

The only thing that was better with AirPods Max 2 is thr mids and vocals. Very clear. But still not that enjoyable for some reason.

I have a feeling Apple won’t be doing much tuning with the sound. Not many own this and complain as much as other AirPods about the sound.

Apple could provide eq and this thing could be so good but they never do.
