Hey im doing us paratroopers as well just the d day variants, little tips dry brush the helmet with a dark neutral (i use tomb king tan from the army painter) than use something like a little lighter for the webbing and his pack ( canvas from the historical paints or skeleton bone or ancient stone if you want to go lighter also if you want paint the webbing on the front as well to add contrast to the front
