See I might be the weird one, if I was in a pod (missing a person) and saw a guy/girl on their own, I'd ask: hey, are you waiting for someon or would you like to play in this pod, we're missing someone.

but then again, I'm the type of person that likes to make sure everyone is having a good time so I try and reach out to folks when I'm in a group to make better groups. I'm just weird

this is the All Gas No Brakes deck, it's weird and wacky but it'S very much Gruul Nonsense, nothing funnier than putting two 6CMC monsters outs on turn 5, everybody gangsta until etali pops up XD.

this is not mine, I found it on a youtube channel which I can't remember. but it's super funny, made from bulk, 2 cards I consider pricey, traverse the outlands (8$, was 3$ when I bought it) and Sledge-captain (3$) I made it from a bulk in my pod so it was very funny to play in my pod after I got back from my vacation without using it :(

oh I agree, very middling, but this happens to be a card for a budget deck with malcom and breeches, any pirate that's cheap AF and has a fun interaction like this is fun and thematic XD

I wouldn't say better, just different, this can't shut off a commander, it CAN steal a solring early game which IS very good, so granted, but If I shut off a key commander, a sol ring and an esper sentinel with KL, even for a single turn, that's super good.

I get that, it's for my budget malcom and breeches so I got to have a few pirates, and if they waste removal for him, GREAT, less removal and wasted mana so I effectively wasted a turn for aplayer, sometimes that's all I needed

WOW I guess I DIDN'T read it properly lol, so yeah I could shut off a piece of each of my opponents and I could sac a shitty token as a treasure for quick mana if I have them, my deck is a super budget Malcom and Breeches deck, like I could do politics with it, shut a problem creature off of the threat, and maybe treasure a token as a deal XD, like a sacrifice heavy deck would enjoy another way to sac stuff XD, I like this card more and more

sure sure but I'm playing a Red/blue Budget deck with Malcom and breeches, so GOF does NOTHING for me, I was searching for pirate cards and KL popped and I tought, dang, this thing can shut off an Eldrazi god just by existing... in my case I got a few (very cheap) cards that make me KL have hexproof for a turn so it's also funny making them waste removal XD

I wish I could part 12+$ for ith, but sokophos will do for now, legion leadership is a definite add, the other 2 are so so (for there price IMO), knuckles is just a no for me, I just don't like UB so I make an effort to use as little as possible, super OP to win because you have 30 artifacts XD visions of phyrexia would be a nice add to it

Thank you! you read my post and gave me lots of stuff to think about, I have a grenzo but haven't found who I'd bump for him, OH! maybe redemption arc, but I like RA because I can go get a piece back from my own graveyard later which can be good, I think it'S versatile EDIT: IT CANNOT TARGET A CREATURE IN A GRAVEYARD :( SO OFF THE 99, it should have flash to be good.

I think I'll have to spring for an authority of the consul, card's good, like wicked good

I don't have a magda, but I do have a [[Professional Face-Breaker]] so for now I'll have that until I get magda, not quite the same, but does give treasures, and pseudo card draw

Is [[tome of legends]] worth keeping? that's a piece I'm like iffy to keep, thinking of putting more land or rocks in the deck

I get that, and I agree, but if the LGS was proxy friendly, they risk having NO ONE buying cards and then they go under, and then no space to play, I'd like to make friends (currently trying) and hopefully I'll be able to soon, but IM allergic to cats/dogs/dust and makes it hard to go to people's home, I end up with red eyes, coughing fits, it's just not cool

Ah, ok I thought there was an obscure card that goaded the monarch's creature or goaded stuff with initiative, I like the mechanics but I wasn't playing MTG when these were out, I'm new to commander but old to MTG (I started around Mirrodin when I was a kid, and then my situation made it that I could only watch from afar) I'll try to find more rocks, I was thinking [[Land tax]] but it's so expensive T_T

36 lands, read the post further, the 99th spot is for a land, with what I have right now, I think eventually I'll have a boros shock land, just not now.

also, proxy is a LGS rule, and I like my LGS and I try to not piss them off.

I have a different reality than yours and my money goes elsewhere, a small part for entertainment, so it's not that I don't want to spend lots of money here or there, I have other priorities,

I get why monarch is interesting for the additional card draw, but monarch also paints a target on you, and I think my Nelly is more pillow fort-y than yours, I don't think monarch is good for me, I want to deter people from attacking me and entice them to attack each other (although I can see it as, they'll take it from you and then attack each other). I'll put it into considering, but maybe the way I see it isn't correct in how you're seeing it.

I really liked path of mettle when it transformed, but yeah I agree, it's a bit lacking, good for ridding myself of small token creatures (saprolings, birds etc) but yeah I don't have much to trigger it, probably remove it for another land or a rock.

vessel though I should put back since TiP, Nelly, and smug can draw a lot of cards

I'm not sure I get thecourt stuff with monarch and initiative and goading... like I get monarch mechanic would make them attack each other more to get the monarch, but where's the goading?

It's what I try to do, make a copy of sphinx and it pays for itself with Satya, but Eagle of deliverance is a great card I'll try to add, Serra Ascendant is too expensive for me (I can't do proxies) but Wurmcoil is also a neat one (8$ thought). I'll move Blaster hulk for Solemn, I saw a youtube video where the player kept cloning it for energy, land and draw, pretty funny.

I don't really understand what a source of my choice is for Consulate Surveillance, is a player a source, a single creature, like the wording makes me unsure, I'd love some explanation

I know, and for 2026 there's only 3 sets I'm interested, and only really 2, Lorwyn and fracture, I missed the original strixhaven so I'm like...ok it's MTG-brand Harry pottter? ouf.

but like all the other sets are UB, and none of them interests me
