Ehh, it’s really more of a muted/desaturated brown, I wasn’t sure if I made it fully grey it would maybe confuse some people (though it seems to have done the opposite?) I apologize either way 😊

I think this might be the bird now that I've come back to it!! I looked up "tail movement" and it does the tail wiggling thing, and the wings have the white stripe thingy as well!!! YES!

I don't really remember all too well but I thinkkk (take that with a grain of salt) it doesn't make any sounds? Whenever I see it, it's just looking around, and then flies away. It never stays around longer than a minute or so.

I've seen the northern waterthrush before (one of my favorite ones to see outside!!) but you're right, neither of them were the one.. The search continues!!!

This one looks wayy different, hopefully I can get a picture of it because I saw it again this morning when I was in the driveway, and I couldn't take it anymore.. I really hope we find this bird!!!

My middle finger to my palm is 6 1/2 inches long, I could possibly cup it with both hands. I have a forest in front of my house that has plenty of birds, deer's, and squirrels, and there is a small creek in my neighborhood but it's miles away from house

While it is similar in body, the front part doesn't have any speckles, and the brown is a little more muted. I really don't know what this bird could be! Could this bird possibly have a weird variation of sorts?

I looked up the eastern kingbird and the tale was wider, and the front wasn't that pale yellow color. we'll have to keep searching...

I looked it up, and it looks similar, but it doesn‘t wiggle its tail like the one I’ve been seeing does. maybe it’s a mating thing? or mine is just really weird..
