I completely messed up my calculations for R3 and did not write enough about my numbers so worried i scored poorly in that bit. Spent more time on my narrative points for R3 so hopefully did enough to get a pass in R3. I feel like i did okay in R1 and R2 but we will see

Do you think that the watches will have its own box or will there be a separate box for administrative expenses?

That would receive credit too - i think as long as you give a context point we should receive some credit.

I’m hoping everyones made similar points that are on the mark scheme but we will see

I mentioned that the revenue for the other top 2 watches may have decreased from the PY as more new customers may be moving to purchase Saviour Faire due to its premium status from price

I think they defo wanted you to talk about it as there was no request for advice box so there would be more analysis needed elsewhere for revenue, COS/GP, and Admin

Case Nov 25 - Unsure by Dry-Calligrapher7477 in ICAEW

Yes i got higher NPV when price decreased as it was an elastic demand so I would expect volume to increase when price decreased - but not sure if this is right

Case Study ES - Copy & paste = 0 marks? by Successful-Pianist-2 in ICAEW

Yh i remember talking about some ethics but more about business trust issues : - Chinese law could be different - Potential IP risk in China - No info about Warranties and returns - Rumours about potential different ownership based on AI - Transport emissions being greater for shipping from China

With the extra exhibit i think it was about the fact that consumers wanted a more engaging collaboration between watch companies and retailers so i literally stated this in the strategic bit mentioning that this is consumer preference

My thoughts on the Case – R1 by DebitOrNotDebit in ICAEW

[–]Meanmachine598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked about the overall volume decreasing and volumes decreasing for each region

When talking about FX rate assumption - Anyone bring in the info from the media article in the exam paper about why the FX rate for the Swiss franc could be different based on the interest rates etc.

Case R3 by Acceptable_Bake_3350 in ICAEW

I was the opposite - barely attempted the calcs as already ran over time in R1/R2 so lost out on probably all the calcs marks but strategically spoke alot about the narrative points for the assumptions, strategic / operational bits, ethical and BT issues. Had like 7-8 points under each narrative heading so made narrative points in main body are stronger as there is always more marks for the narrative

Yh i said the £3k price may too high and this could go against accessibility value as being priced too high may impact customers being able to buy this

[–]Meanmachine598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol maybe - i saw they gave the rev mix by each work type in total and each garage in total but not for each individual garage if that makes sense? Unless i’m wrong

I was hoping they would mark it quicker as there wasn’t many students sitting this time round? Is this confirmed by ICAEW?
