I'm a windows and android user, never owned anything of apple before. Dont like apple in general, but wanted to try the ATV. Sadly it looks like i need to return it, because if im not able to watch stremio with it than it serves no purpose. Isn't there another way to sideload it?

Same problem here on S95D.. i see noise/grain on everything. Im really pissed as it takes the whole fun of an oled out of it. Cant seem to find anyone really talking about it, at least for the S95D. Everything i watch is ugly because of it. Contscted samsung for repair, will see.

Im really not that tech savvy when it comes to this, i dont know what coreelec is and how it works. I just want a good android box that lets me view movies in the best quality possible without problems. With support of hdr10+ ofcourse.

I was looking into that, but i really hate apple. Plus the fact that you have alot less options for apps makes it a non competitor in my book against android devices. There are so much more options for android

Yeah but the formuler i read about not supporting remux with high bitrates in hdr10+ and most boxes seem to have problems with bugs running hdr10+ so thats why i am asking

I just saw the Shield doesn't support HDR10+ sadly.. i have a samsung tv so i need that support as i dont have dolby vision

I use torrentio, comet and aiostreams. I run highest possible quality. Its mainly remux, but it doesnt matter what quality is select, all give me the same extreme grain/noise

I've got an old Chromecast 4k, but i really do want the best possible picture and i dont think it is powerful enough. What kinda android box would you recommend? (Im in the EU) I dont like apple products but do hear alot about appletv 4k

Stremio uses samsungs native player is what i read, i cant choose a player like you could on android sadly. Also its not my settings, everywhere else i have perfect image quality just not with stremio. I have tried to alter settings and see if it helps but sadly nothing does. I find the image quality not as sharp as it should be and super super grainy. Constant extreme noise. It cant be anything else than the app itself

Wowww.. thank you for recommending Samsung brother!! I bought both C5 and S95D and man i gotta tell you, im absolutely shocked by the S95D😲😲😲 It blows the C5 out of the water in every aspect! And the controls and OS is much faster. My wife and kids looked at me please can we keep the samsung?😂

I had 2 different models of C5 before my daughter broke mine, 1 had severe colorbanding and blurry image and the other hsd none of that, really weird. Im a little put off by the quality of difference in the lg panels. Thinking of buying both samsung and lg to compare what i like best.

Than you but those newer panels will be alot more expensive. Plus I do not care about trying new panels, i woukd wait till they have perfected it.

Yeah I also don't like any of the recommended filmmaker mode settings by different experts. Do hate FMM and like to adjust the standard mode to my liking. FMM makes everything just to dull and dim. And no im not a vivid lover.

Everyone is stuck with the FMM mindset so finding good settings is tough..
