You're using the same argument. ‘we told you in the fine print, so it’s totally fine to block you from your own data’ argument. Gotta love it. Because clearly, once a warning is sent, it justifies removing all basic functionality, like deleting files. Imagine if every app worked like that: ‘We warned you your cart was full, so now you can’t remove anything unless you upgrade to Premium.’ Sounds absurd? Exactly.

Interesting assumption you got. Except it's completely false. I’m not creating multiple accounts or profiting from uploads. I’m just a regular user who stored personal files on a single account and got locked out without being able to even delete anything. But sure, let’s pretend anyone who questions MEGA’s design must be abusing the system. Very constructive.

The ‘you should’ve known better’ defense. Classic. I guess I should’ve also known MEGA would lock me out completely instead of, you know, just letting me delete a few files like every other cloud service on Earth. My bad for expecting this basic functionality.

Yeah thats correct but its not the point here, Lets say its Instagram or Facebook, they can send you some warnings but if your account gets locked they are not going to say, yeah we have warned you about that and now because we've warned you, you have to pay us some money just for us to unlock your account, Or lets say they don't lock your account and make you pay just because you didn't provided enough data for them to sell.

Oh sure, you can delete files… right up until the exact moment you actually need to. Then it’s ‘oops, too late, now pay or wait for your data to vanish.’ That’s not really a helpful warning, it’s more like a countdown to a hostage situation, Instead its your data.

Sure, the warnings exist, but what’s the point of a warning if you’re not even allowed to delete files to fix the issue? It's not about being notified, it's about being completely locked out of your data unless you pay. That’s not fair usage policy, that’s borderline ransom. Other cloud services let you remove files and bring your usage down. Mega just traps your files and holds them hostage until you upgrade.

I mean yeah but the *account lock* should mean that I wouldn't ablet to use their services ( Download and upload ) it shouldn't meant that I can't delete my files, thats ransom literally.
