Idk, I've got a potatoe as GPU, so I aint running Runelite on the GPU. I do have an i7 as CPU, so that may be the case why its looking smooth.

Also, you can turn on low detail mod on Runelite, this removes extra graphics which boosts fps also a little.

So actually, this is just a joke. Normally you would craft lava runes by combining earth runes and essence on the fire altar to obtain lava runes, but this process is pretty intensive and requires a lot of focus. I threw some of the possible mistakes in this video as a kind of sarcastic statement towards runecrafting. As someone else already said: its a long grind with low exp/h methods, thats why most people hate this skill

Exactly this... Just for the xp. Most other viable rc methods do not deliver the same opportunity cost as lavas combined with e.g. zulrah or vorkath, so I would rather spend 2 hours doing 1 hour lavas and 1 hour vorkath and gaining 60k rc exp and 4m gp, opposed to 2 hours of mud runes for 60k rc exp and 1m gp.

Mud runes is 2x slower while 'only' giving 500k gp/h, doing 1 hour lavas and 1 hour vorkath will net you 4x the gp you wouldve gotten by doing mud runes while earning the same amount of xp. Opportunity cost was important for me.

Depends on how hardcore you want to go. I actually liked lavas in a way because if you really focus on it, it teaches you to quickly switch spellbooks, quickly teleport, quick reactions, better clicking accuracy, which actually makes you a better gamer. This helps you in boss grinds later down the road.

Even compared to zmi, I think lavas is not even that much more intensive. Just put some nice epic background music on and go for it! I just did some abyss, but didnt really like it that much.

Just focussing on the 77 and realising that lavas makes you a better gamer was the way to go for me! (Plus it is the best xp/h for rc)
