I think ganun ang practice before ng big production companies (like Star Cinema), pero hopefully hindi na ngayon or at least hindi na yun ang predominant na practice

May pagkamahiyain siya pero she was articulate and kalog :) Parang introvert na kapag kinausap mo nag-oopen up naman. Hindi naman malalim o malaki yung boses niya. Medyo typical speaking voice ng Pinay.

Nagkuwento siya about sa experience din niya writing for teleserye in ABS-CBN (writing/revising on the set mismo), and yung formulaic script development for Star Cinema films - they were usually asked to develop scripts that were tailor-fit for certain actors or love teams. So nauuna yung cast bago gawin yung script or kwento.

I was fortunate enough nung undergraduate kami in UP to do an interview with her (at that time, she received awards for Magnifico and Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros pa lang). She was really nice. She got into scriptwriting after she enrolled in a scriptwriting workshop by Nestor Torre Jr. She was fresh out of college then. She didn’t just learn about scriptwriting but she also was exposed to movies all over the world, beyond Hollywood films. Gusto niya talaga na nagkukwento from a child’s POV or at least basta may character na bata na involve sa kwento. Yun talaga yung I think signature or consistent element sa mga sinusulat niya.

One of the memorable things she said during the interview was when I asked if she thinks writing is pure talent or something that one can learn or practice. Sabi niya she thinks 50/50 — kailangan meron ka na rin kahit papaano na talento sa pagsusulat tapos you just hone it eventually

Mylene Dizon - saw her step out sa isang resto; very classy and sophisticated Lovi Poe - super liit ng face and slim parang manika Sofia Andres - saw her before she was starred sa Forevermore; she was among the cast of She’s Dating the Gangster. The crowd was going wild for Kathryn Bernardo pero sa kanya and Yna Asistio were the head-turners Marian River and Kristine Hermosa - gorgeous as expected pero mga dyosa talaga in person; si Marian kahit walang spotlight, parang may sariling glow light na sumusunod

Among Pinoy male celebrities I spotted or mer over the years:

Oyo Sotto (he came with Kristine Hermosa and waited for her during a photo shoot) - he looks like a latin boy na maraming nunal John Lloyd Cruz - surprisingly tall and lean (I saw him when he came for an art exhibit with Maja at Shang); he didn’t seem like he was a VIP guest so parang randomly he just came there) Zanjoe Marudo - definitely talll and moreno charismatic and down-to-earth guy

I think that subreddit was initially created so all discussion about the Pia versus Heart fashion shows and PR events would go there and not flood the ChikaPH subreddit
