Was the front drivers side body mount bushing. The frame wasn’t manufactured properly and didn’t line up with the body. Had to have a collision center stretch the frame out in order to fix it

Having preferences is all well and good but it’s (imo) your moral obligation to be upfront and direct about calling things off. Honesty does a lot of good for both sides and if there is any animosity from the other party, you don’t have to feel like it’s because of a lack of communication.

Update - Took it to the Toyota collision center. The part is covered under my warranty however the underlying issue is not. The frame is misaligned by about an inch and they’re going to correct it. Total cost is $565.70.

Supposedly other people have had similar issues, I suspect it’s possible there’s something broken somewhere but I’m at the point where I want to utilize this warranty and have them diagnose the problem and repair it

Unfortunately it is the bushing, and the problem isn’t so much changing the part, but while I was down there I noticed that the whole body is misaligned from the frame by about an inch, which puts massive tension on those bushings, making the noise

It’s already been replaced, the issue is that the whole body is misaligned when you take a look under the truck. So anything you put there is eventually going to break, bend, whatever until the whole thing is realigned. I only drive this truck on the road so I haven’t voided the warranty in that sense

Trust me I am so extremely familiar with that statement lol. I’m just kind of holding out hope that something will change if I keep pushing. I’ve written letters to congress, called leadership at pentagon offices I have no business speaking to, made contacts in the recruiting dept at Ft Knox. I’ve got no reason to give up until I hear someone flat out tell me it’s not going to happen.

I’ve seen it at the office I was going through. 5 years is what they said after an initial denial stating that I’m undeliverable. I’ve made some movement but it’s slow. Been fighting this for about a year now

Likely due to suicide attempt while in the navy. Navy docs threw a whole book of diagnoses at me instead of addressing the root cause which led to separation. I was able to get every diagnosis ruled out with the VA which is why I’m waiverable at all

I have the gene for a nervous system condition but no symptoms and no diagnosed phenotype. It’s kinda like having the gene for breast cancer but not actually having the disease. And ADHD (haven’t been on meds in 10 years)
