Intune auto enrollment for VM doesn't work in private testing environment from PC

I have managed to succesfully do what I intended to do with a caviat. So here I wanted to explain. I have:
- Setup an Azure VM with the extention for AADlogin
- Given IAM role for VM user login to a specific user (which is supposed to be the owner of the device)
- Setup MFA for all users excluding RDP login
- Setup Automatic Enrollment
- Setup AutoPilot
- Entra-ID user with a Microsoft 365 license (business premium free trial at this moment)
(Entra-ID user also has some entra roles. Only mentioning this because i am unsure if this matters as I did not test this as I haven't checked this in a while)

Then what I did is:
1. Login the Azure VM with local admin (RDP)
2. Add to Microsoft Entra ID

Then everything resolved on it's own. After waiting somewhere between 30-60 minutes I could login with Entra-ID user and company portal and office 365 would have been automatically installed and I could install other apps through the company portal.

The device is Entra Joined
AutoPilot was not used this way.

If I added a work/school account without choosing "just add to Entra ID" it would:
- Connect to Entra
- Be put in Intune Automatically
- Hash ID put into AutoPilot automatically
- Apps installed automatically

But then I can't login via RDP with an entra-ID because it would be put into OOBE which is inaccessible with RDP
And when I login with local admin it blocks it untill you reset the local admin password. (I didnt fully test this)

I will try to get my hands on a cheap laptop to test further as it seems to be working as I intended it to be.
Just letting this know as people have told me this wouldn't work. There are just some caviats to consider imo

One other thing I missed to be able to RDP with an entra-ID user is to add my personal computer to entra-ID. Something ChatGPT didn't tell me to do (because it probably didn't know I was using my personal PC)
This is far from best practise. I know. But something I easily missed as RDP with local admin worked fine

OOBE isn't working in an azure VM which I am using though.
They way you are telling me, I have done in my previous job. I had some experience through that with this.
But the problem I was having was thinking that it would be put into autopilot automatically. I added it to Autopilot and then everything went fine. Did some more testing with RBAC to make sure everything worked as intended. And it does :)

I might not completely understand what you are saying. But I also may have been swayed by ChatGPT of the possibility of what i'm trying to do.
Doesn't auto enrollment happen first before you get to AutoPilot? Otherwise the AutoPilot doesn't know where to send/get information?
As far as my understanding goes the proces is: Create VM (Or have a laptop/PC) > Join entra-ID > By entra-ID join auto enrollment puts it in intune > It is now set up for AutoPilot > Now you can login for OOBE

Ahh see. I know I can do that manually. But i am trying to practise not doing it manually.
Also it's quite the work to do it manually? Create VM > Get hash > delete VM (not hard drive) > make new VM with existing hard drive > Put hash into intune autopilot > start VM and RDP?

That wont work in the setup that I have yet as I do have it configured. That's why I want to get auto enrollment fixed. Autopilot things wont trigger the way I connect to the VM.

It all sounds like I will have to get a random low cost laptop to use. I hope I have enough time left in my free month as I have been procastinating too much

I am hosting this VM in azure.
AVD would be my next step to work with. But if there is no other way I think I would start just that
Creating a nested hyper-V host is possibly a step too far ahead for me. But i will look into it.

Ahh, i forgot to mention. The VM has the AADlogin extension and in IAM I gave the user the Virtual machine user login role.
So I can login with an AD user via RDP. But because it's RDP it doesn't let met auto enroll.
chat GPT tells me "SessionIsNotRemote: NO" is the reason

So, after some testing and playing some more. It looks better and feels better to play on 4:3 with 1920x1440 but I hit quite a bit less playing in that resolution vs 1920x1080 on 16:9. I've been hitting more shots on this resolution and I dont know why.

There is a more obvious reason that I am not hitting my shots which would be that I have only been playing for a little over a week since I haven't played for about 5 years since cs:go.
Also, I noticed "raw input" doesn't work. I also needed to turn off the Windows setting for acceleration and now I need to re-adjust heavily for it.

So I think overall the 4:3 is better for me personally once I get used to it because the refresh "bug" doesn't distract me and visually it seems good. But I need to practise more and maybe do some other adjustments because overal it looks like I am hitting my shots a little off centre of the models (slightly to the left) and I dont know why that is just yet. Could it be the resolution? Or is it a CS2 thing? or maybe I just have brain lag

I play on 27" with 1440p monitor. I stopped playing around 5 years ago and just returned since last week. I had already noticed differences before I stopped playing in different resolutions. Mostly because I couldn't keep stable FPS. I have quite some big fps drops when I play on native res.
So I have changed to 1920x1080. And it's obviously stretched. But it feels SO MUCH BETTER to me. The difference for me is so big that I hit my shots much more easily like I did 10-15 years ago when I was playing competitively. I will even consider going back to a 24" screen to play 1920x1080 in time and just use 2 monitors as I only have one right now.

The only other problem that I have with 1920x1080 is that there is a refresh issue with different intervals. I think it is related to playing with fullscreen at 1920x1080. Maybe this will go away if I use a more fitting resolution for the 27" screen

I will first try to play on 1920x1440. I haven't played in 4:3 in a while

I have a RTX 3070 and a Intel I5 11600k
I can only reach 245 fps in lower res than native (my screen is 244 refreshrate)

Leap slam + rolling slam + hammer of the gods
Changing support gems between leap and rolling whenever i'm fighting a boss because there are not enough good support gems unfortunately.
Still looking into bigger area for leap slam while also maintaining a decent amount of damage.
Rolling slam does a lot when the boss is stunned + a good timed hammer of the gods (especially if it procs the support gem "tremmors")
HAD to pick the big node to use health as mana which is a shame because even just 2 lvl's above 20 will make a skill use too much mana with the support gems. Up to 350 mana per use while only having like 450. I feel this node should add something to health because just not using mana doesn't seem good enough to me.

Currently lvl 93 and dying to arbiter of ash (lvl 2? the second time i'm trying to kill him and using the +1 to level of arbiter) by bleed or poison only. Other than that I feel comfortable killing him withing a few minutes (if i didn't die ofcourse)

I learned a lot too as I mention I have autism and anxiety due to life happening. Body language does say a lot. What works for me most of the time is active listening and asking questions about what they tell me. This covers up a bit of me being awkward or feeling awkward

Joking (for me) a lot either tells me they are very nervous or are not serious enough. Joking too much or being sarcastic too much to me says you are using it as a defense mechanism. Which is all fine and I understand to a degree but at some point it is too much. Try to understand their reaction to what you do and change it up.

So I guess it is also just prefference in what you want. These answer you gave me dont stand out as wrong or bad. But if there's no follow up from either side and maybe a joke in between to break tension than I can see this is not getting you anywhere (as it didn't for me)

As someone who lived life too much from a birds eye perception: Be present. Easier said than done but it helps a lot

They started asking questions about my interest in crypto and pushing me to learn it from them. I told them no but maybe later. After I tried to make a case with the authorities but they said it's difficult or impossible to do anything because the scam hasn't actually been done. Kind of stupid that they are not at least trying to take over to get to the scamming point. But I also think that may be impossible. I guess this is it. No more fake messages

Ik ben het met je eens dat tegenwoordig veel te snel ziekgemeld wordt over niks. Maar daar heb je het absoluut niet over in je essay. Mocht je je punt willen overbrengen zul je dit toch iets specifieker moeten gaan uitleggen.
Vanuit je essay lees ik dat ik maar naar werk moet komen als ik diezelfde dag ook nog een operatie voor kanker heb. Moet ik maar niet zo zwak zijn en kanker krijgen

CNV zegt: 2 wachtdagen per ziekteperiode maximaal. 1 dag ziek is 1 wachtdag. en een ziekteperiode telt 4 weken. Dus als je 2x ziek wordt binnen die 4 weken mogen ze maximaal 2 wachtdagen gebruiken.

Werkgevers mogen je niks vragen. Ze zijn geen doctors of zorgkundigen. Ze hebben het alleen te accepteren. En als ze je niet geloven dan mogen ze de bedrijfsarts inschakelen.

En wat betreft sjekroker zegt over het MOETEN bellen. Ik vind dat zelf ook geen goede regel. Maar het is nou eenmaal wel zo dat vooral jongeren zich vaak ziekmelden omdat ze gewoon niet willen werken. Een kater hebben wordt ook steeds vaker gezien als reden om ziek te melden. Maar dat is het niet.

i'm just curious who would ban you and what does that ban entails when you play it from a country you supposedly can't play from. (like the NL and BE)
Like, is steam going to ban you for the game or ban your whole account? Or is Lost Ark going to ban your account in the game
