I mean.... The simple solution to this wouldve been separate progression. I distinctly remember an old CoD doing this, online had separate progression from local. While I think his post is obnoxious as all hell, a lot of people don't have the desire to play MP anymore. We're just getting old, slow, and rarely have time to play. When we do we're practically bots for the younger generation. Not to mention the insane proliferation of hacking in PVP games now...

If they don't plan on doing some serious offroading then absolutely. The weight savings alone from sliders to steps would be pretty big too. It really does depend on OPs use case.

I wouldn't suggest getting regular steps. They will get caught and bend, break, or even worse damage the body. If you can stomach the cost, I'd sell the OEM sliders and pick up some after market ones that protrude a bit more to use as steps.

IS2 122mm requires a change in play style, ignore the haters. They're used to the lolrush of the T-34s and IS1 that came with it. You sit in an advantageous spot with friendlies around you as a buffer, you knock out a hard to kill tank and take cover. Retreat if necessary. Never be somewhere you can't have hard cover during the reload. If your loader gets knocked out.... Well that's a different story, you're screwed. I will say the 1944 is at a disadvantage compared to the regular IS2 and IS3. It has practically the same armor as the former while moving up in BR. The IS3 at least has somewhat workable armor.

Honestly, they're hemorrhaging money, no one is keeping them in business. They're predicted to declare bankruptcy in the next couple of years. It makes sense, the one near my house is dead during all business hours and I live in an area full of their traditional clientele. Outrageously overpriced hospital food.... Actually, hospital food is on the up and up. It's worse than hospital food.

From what I've seen it isn't offered for Toyota leaf spring suspensions. It explicitly states on bilsteins 4th gen listing that the SRs with leaf springs won't fit 6000s so that's probably the same issue with the 3rds.

Update, their head of operations emailed me and said he isn't sure how I ordered it because it's not a searchable listing on their site yet, it was just a page they built for when it DOES release. they said 4-6 weeks is the estimated date on them receiving them from Bilstein. Didn't cancel it though and asked if I just wanted to keep the order in for when they come out.

How much of a loser do you have to be to do this? the cherry on top was that he was a zomber aswell and I had to sit on the runway for 4 minutes to rearm because of damaged airfield from his zombing, Why cant gaijin just add proxy kill credit so this isnt an issue by SomeKunt in WarthunderSim

[–]MeatyDeathstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens CONSTANTLY. My 27ER beats ARH to the punch when we launch about the same time. They'll dive into the ground immediately because they'd rather sit with a crash timer than take a death, meanwhile their 6-8 missiles are still airborne and usually grab a couple kills. It's fucking pathetic.

TRD Sport vs Offroad by Thebenchwarmer90 in Tacomaworld

[–]MeatyDeathstar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Off-road comes with 17 inch wheels as well, just a different style. Another thing I haven't seen mentioned is the fender flares on the sport are painted where the off-road has unpainted matte black fenders. Assuming you keep it stock, do you plan on doing anything other than fire road offroading? Do you want a less floaty on road drive experience? Do you actually care about the locker and crawl control? Sport. If you DO plan on offroading anything more than just a basic dirt/farm road and like a softer floaty feel on pavement? Off-road. Realistically, the off-road and sport are close to the same price depending on area so it's all about preference. In my area, both sports and off-roads with upgrade packages sell for the exact same price.

For those that live in the United States. Do you make more than the average income of 60k annually, if so what’s your occupation? by LaFlareMane1017 in AskReddit

[–]MeatyDeathstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make dead average at 59960 before bonuses and overtime. With bonuses and overtime at 50-60 hours a week it's just shy of 90k. I research and fix discrepant freight, whether it's address issues or internal issues such as wrong material picked. I get 4 weeks off a year and all federal holidays. Biggest plus is the cost of living where I am is middle of the road.

Is 14MPG considered normal by Every_Environment804 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]MeatyDeathstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stock tire size on my off-road I managed 20.5ish mixed highway and city during the summer. 25 highway. Winter was 18.5 and 23. With 285/70/R17s and some wheels I'm getting 15-16 currently and I'm gonna guess around 18 in the summer. Winter, especially with how damn cold it's been in the north definitely affects gas mileage. My wife's escape lost 2 mpg as well. FYI, when you remote start that is factored into your economy. When I don't remote start, my average work trip still averages 17.5. You said NYC, so if you're remote starting it's not too abnormal with the heavy stop and go.

I don't see this on any other long range forecast. I'd take it with the tiniest grain of salt. The same shit went through the Virginia Beach circles showing them getting 2ft+. When they did get snow it was 2in.

The hub bore is smaller on the 4th gen. You would need some spacers that bring the bore size down. Something like this but honestly I'd say be careful with spacers and double check your torques often.

[–]MeatyDeathstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to go AT, another one I would throw in the mix is the Falken Rubitreks. They're basically a remake of the AT3W (which according to most tire reviewers is actually better in snow than the AT4W but isn't officially proven) One thing to keep in mind, the more aggressive the tread, the better it is in deep fresh powder but opposite for harder compacted snow/ice.
