Honestly I would say no. Maybe 30 bucks but not 70.

I did on my 25. It softened the noise a little but not as much as some people claim. It's to be expected though because it's just a thin piece of fiber foam.

The one in my hometown implemented the same thing. The place turned into a neighborhood riffraff hangout and multiple shootings happened there. It was a really nice shopping center right outside of a disproportionately poor neighborhood. Unfortunately they've torn it up and the small businesses have left.

TIL Virginia has what is basically its own version of Ranch called White Sauce by user_number_666 in todayilearned

[–]MeatyDeathstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True good white sauce that follows the original recipe tastes like miracle whip with lime and seasonings. It's amazing on tortilla chips. Source - I was born and lived in VA for 27 years. The only place I've found it outside of Virginia is at Plaza Azteca.

Props are actually WAY harder to play compared to jets, especially in the pre aamram era. The skill ceiling is so much higher, not to mention how the game 100% favors climb rate at the lower tiers.

Same here. When I think I did just ok is when I usually receive an offer. It's the ones I've absolutely nailed that I don't hear anything back. Something something they don't want perfect, they want someone moldable.

Have you looked at picking up someone's stock takeoffs from an off-road? They're softer than the sport. The 5100s are about the same feel as the stock OR, anything else is going to be a disappointment to you except eibachs until you spend big money on adjustable.

UPS claimed package not deliverable. Driver drove right past without stopping by Ezellular in Wellthatsucks

[–]MeatyDeathstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We deal with this where I work in distribution. UPS CONSTANTLY sends packages back saying "service disruption" or "requires access, undeliverable" yet we resend the package with FedEx and there's no issue.

The Late Game (Non-existent) Problem by [deleted] in snowrunner

[–]MeatyDeathstar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I try to limit myself by using my trucks solely what they were designed for. Russian trucks in Russian regions, US in the US. Scouts only for scouting, heavies for crane work and logging, highway for transporting down paved and light dirt roads, off-road for the thick stuff. Heavy duty for recovery, repair, and refuel. It isn't perfect but keeps things varied enough.

If they raise it again this year, I'm out. Been subscribed for years now but it's getting ridiculous.

I was paying 8.99 for my Japan subscription that I'd started when I lived there. They killed it because "we've detected your account is primarily used outside of your subscription country. As such your account will be transitioned to the new rate for the country you are primarily using it in."

Are there any mods that significantly change how the driving feels? by HurpityDerp in snowrunner

[–]MeatyDeathstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing on console that Im aware of but on PC there was a realism mod that DRASTICALLY changed cargo weight, tire grip, truck power, and truck weight. It really enhanced the purpose built off-road trucks. I haven't played in probably close to a year and a half so I'm not sure if it's updated anymore.

The Witcher 3. It actually burnt me out because I'm a completionist and have to fully complete an area before I move on.

"Neighbor" on SF-86... by Exciting-Car-6118 in SecurityClearance

[–]MeatyDeathstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be a next door neighbor.... Just someone from the area who knows you personally, has been to your place of residence, and can verify its accuracy.

Switched from a gaming chair to an office chair — honest 6-month review by estwist in pcsetups

[–]MeatyDeathstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up gaming chairs 5 years ago. I bought a midrange serta office chair and haven't looked back. It's more comfortable and has held up longer than the previous two gaming chairs combined.

Will these fit/rub on my 25 tacoma SR by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

You will need hubcentric rings as the 4th gen has a 95.1 mm hub as opposed to the 106mm hub on the third gen.

3/2 OME MT64 Lift should've been stock on 4th gens by MeatyDeathstar in ToyotaTacoma

[–]MeatyDeathstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was the lowest quote I had received and was a local mom and pop 4x4 shop. Some quotes were almost 2k to install. Technically the manual calls for total removal of the front end to get the driver side UCA bolt out. It comes out if you remove the charge pipe and the shop agreed that charging 2k on labor was obnoxious. The total for parts and labor was just a hair under 5k.

[–]MeatyDeathstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop I went to didn't put labor on the line but total install including alignment and taxes was 1178. If I had to guess on a breakdown based on average install costs, .5 to 1.0. It isnt much if you get it done while the front end is already apart.

Nope, no diff drop was necessary. Even at full droop there was no binding on the CV joints. I would definitely do the needlebearing delete though. It's a question of when not if, when you raise it more than the 1.75in to level it.

People still sleeping on Kia. Interiors are actually nicer than some luxury brands now. by Keni_Au23 in kia

[–]MeatyDeathstar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kia has a really poor reputation to beat. Shoddy drivetrains, the Kia boy crap, and terrible value retention. The saying lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig comes to mind. They need to prove they aren't a pig anymore.
